I don't understand the economics of this.
There are 3999 tickets at £5 each, so the total draw income is £19,995, if they sell all the tickets. But isn't the car worth about that? Or at least £13,000? So where is the margin to cover the costs and risk?

I know of someone who often sells his cars this way, always sells all the tickets and some gets a bargain
