The UK actually produces hi quality Lycra.
I know. (don't ask how, long story), however, the best know names, and designers of cycling kit tend to be European.
The UK actually produces hi quality Lycra.
With Amazon, I assume it's just their existing stock, once that runs out.....
I buy a lot of Assos stuff, not sure if that will be affected as they're based in Switzerland.
We just need to be able to buy it instead of buying the same that has been imported!Lobster, yes, initially, not sure about salmon, it appears shellfish have been excluded in the 'fisheries' deal.
But in the long run, if the lobster fishermen (and women) can't sell their product at a profit, they go bust. No one sells the product. We have to import. The price goes up.
Or.
Should the lobster fisherman/women want to stay in business, the price goes up.
Result for the consumer. Lose-lose in the long run.
Well I wouldn't it would show. Also cheap lycra might end up being a strainer. Messy! You lot will argue about anything...Lycra indeed... who gives a sh!t?

We need to rediscover our domestic markets, shellfish/seafood is just a prime example, it is and always has been ridiculous that the UK exports almost all of the langoustine caught and yet we import frozen peeled prawns from halfway round the world! Mostly because people cannot imagine being even mildly adventurous in the kitchen. They will almost always buy battered cod in the chippy at a premium of several £ when there are many better fish available if they would try it.
I guess the same principles apply to the market in MAMIL's for their lycra fetish!
That won't take long then.......
How long did it take for curries to be a staple diet in this country?
By the time people open their eyes to the delights of shellfish, the shell fishermen and women will have gone out of business years before!
Who wants to pull apart a langoustine when they can have an already shelled prawn on their plate?
The government have made a major blunder not including the shell fish industry in the UK with the fisheries industry.
When you've got a fisheries minister not reading and voting for the deal Boris got, you've got a recipe for disaster.
She should be sacked.
She won't as that would be an admission of the government making a massive balls up.
Who wants to pull apart a langoustine when they can have an already shelled prawn on their plate?
I think for a lot of British they don't want to take stuff apart on the plate whereas over here it's the norm when eating.I don't understand the question.

What you ?You do realise I was being a tiny bit facetious?

They will be missing half the fun, Although you do run the risk of shredding your fingers with Langoustine!I think for a lot of British they don't want to take stuff apart on the plate whereas over here it's the norm when eating.
The fishmonger in our market has had some fabulous langoustine recently. I guess maybe this is why?
He had live lobster as well. I love lobster but never cooked it myself. Not sure of the best way but maybe it’s time I found out.
I have no idea what langoustine is but I know my way around a meat and potato pie....
It’s almost the weekend, time for a Wigan kebab?
