I mention of explosives or sausages.

Seems the correct use nowadays is “Eleanor Rigby is a banger”.

I suspect you're correct. Apart from the 'Eleanor Rigby' Pretty sure that today's 'yout' wouldn't use those words....

Rising damp, it was a great series at the time, I doubt it would be broadcast now, but at the time quite innocent, with no malice intended I’m sure. Although I never fancied Miss Jones. And yes, I realise it’s a different Rigby, Someone’s bound to say that.

That was funny re: the Brit getting his butties confiscated my Dutch customs!

Not so funny is the Tory chums latest rip-off the poor sly trick. This stinks like a festering turd, truly awful thing to do..

Company providing these 'food hampers' is owned by Compass, the MD of which as, guess what, a Tory Party donor, and the contract for this 'work' was not tendered.

Not so funny is the Tory chums latest rip-off.

Multiple campaigners against Chartwells' provision suggested Blakemore was a Conservative party donor when the controversy broke. No donations above the £500 minimum set by the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 were recorded on the Electoral Commission website at that time.

Before I left home this morning I saw on the news that at some point this week they would expect the stockpiled stuff to run out and the expected lorry queues would start.

So when I used the M20 today and this morning didn’t see a single queuing lorry which I was quite surprised about.

However, this evening (at about 5pm) there were two queues of lorries ready to get their paperwork checked at the not quite finished inland border check place that were well over 3 miles long.

I’m guessing several hundred lorries. Looks like what they the predicted is becoming reality.

My Ryanair pilot mate in Ireland tells me planes are flying empty between UK and Ireland presumably so they can keep the route open and not lose the licence for it.

More to the point, who's going to buy a raffle card? It's Ryanair after all.
Before the present situation, when back home in the U K from work, and going to Europe for a holiday I used to say I’m never flying with them again, but we have short memories and at half the price I always did it again. But never bought a raffle ticket, I did find out that the sale of raffle tickets contributed to the air crews wages.

Interesting to see how online companies are handling custom duties between UK and the rest of the EU, with VAT, without VAT, Customs deposits buying is becoming a nightmare
