Brexit Deal

Let’s not pretend that the tories stopped borrowing money, they didn’t. They have also left education in a state, the NHS in a state, more children in poverty than we should admit as one of the world’s richest countries...

This is the desperate thing about this election.

An obsessional focus on the withdrawal agreement (not even a new deal) with a government whose record, or legacy as Trump would put it, from the past 10 years is shameful and an ineffectual opposition who cannot give this government of the past 9 1/2 years the kicking it deserves.

Prediction

Providing there is no major 'fowl'up before Thursday then Tories will win, BJ will be PM and have a working majority.

Cause, Labour are so inept having spurned for years the easiest chances to dispose of a fractured Conservative government

you read it here first :D

There's not one amongst them who I trust and would want as leader of our government. It doesn't matter where your political allegiances lie anymore, they're all a bunch of ****-witted wankpots persuaded by their own lies and hubris.
Except JC. My brother was ranting cos JC didn't know the time the Queen's Xmas speech is broadcast at. That's cos he a) doesn't care (and neither do I) and b) he's out helping feed the homeless on Xmas day.

This is what we're up against...

Except he said he always listens to the Queen's Christmas speech

This. In spades. Feels like he wanted to put across that he's with the population that watches / appreciates / is interested / throws bread rolls at the Queen, but in fact doesn't ever listen to her speech on Christmas day.

Nothing wrong with not caring, and / or feeding the homeless (bloody good on him. Keep meaning to do it ourselves) but in that case say 'I don't care' or 'No, I'm out feeding the homeless'

A lie with little to gain, I feel

Ok Jeremy....I'll believe you .... What labour need is new young blood instead of this ageing stick insect. He truly is a cock.....In fact what every party needs is a lobotomy. Not been on this thread for a while...remember why now. Back to cars it is for me....

I think the total opposite, JC is an honest decent bloke, BJ is a total w@nker, and will send us down the river, I really cannot see how people can't see it.

Honest? The man who sat on the floor of an empty train to make a political point, refuses to apologise for anti semetic remarks, always sides with our enemies, just to mention a few! Not to mention his anti business policies, increasing minimum wage/4 day week is just ridiculous.

Making this a forum orientated point, if people like JC had been in charge of the world, we wouldn’t have wonderful machines such as maseratis... more Ladas.

I’m not a huge fan of boris, he has many flaws, however he doesn’t hate the country he wants to lead.

Capitalism has many flaws, but it’s the best way to bring people out of poverty. Not ruddy socialism!

Anyway, these debates never change our opinions!

A decent bloke wouldn't praise the IRA two days after the Brighton bombing, attend IRA funerals, accept £20k from Iranian TV to slag off the UK, lay a wreath at the grave of a terrorist who took part in murdering eleven innocent people at the Munich Olympics in '72, share platforms with holocaust denying Jew haters, write a foreword to a book written by an anti-semite, show members of Hamas and Hezbollah round the House Of Commons, allow antisemitism to fester and flourish under his 'leadership', allow long serving members of the Labour Party to be hounded out of the party, sit on the fence for three years on one of the biggest issues the country is facing, bang on about millionaires from privileged backgrounds when he is one himself, bang on about Tory cronyism when he engages in the same thing himself (appoints an ex-lover as his Shadow Home Secretary and gets his son an £80k a year job as a 'researcher' for John McDonnell), etc, etc. As someone of Jewish descent, a former Labour supporter who does a traditionally working class job and is a member of a trade union, the current incarnation of Labour utterly disgusts me.

Rant over, time for a snifter!
