Nail on Head mate.
I'm just a hard working European petrol head living with a fellow European in Europe :)
Phil everytime you post a story of your travels across Europe and doing jobs I grin! I picture you steaming down the lanes in laval with your Righteous Renault 4 and I think....bloody good on you and how great to be doing what you do! I’m over next month to do the heater matrix on the Maser so lots of swearing and cursing but looking forward to sorting it before it pee’s itself into the the interior!! Chapeau to you mon ami....you are living the dream...

I'm living the European Dream that has been open to all of us.
Longer journeys we use the Jaguar and for some Summer Loving we hope to soon have a German ragtop in the form of a Boxster S.
Can't get much more European really.

I'm feeling quite bad for wattie now with all the ribbing, some stuff did get a bit heated, but we all have different opinions, would be a boring world otherwise, come back wattie :99e3ia:
Yeah #we love you wattie even though your ideas are upside down, but now we understand why.....being that you live in the land down-under...Australia:D:p:D:)

Express your opinions, they are yours, .”respect” others, if you want yours “respected”, no need to get personal, I realise this is a diversive subject, but let’s debate rather than get into discussions on families, wives etc, what’s the point...it will make no difference at all, followed this thread all the war through and it’s mostly been very well presented/ debated, rant over, carry on...

Actually I think there are 70k, which when generally I think they work on 2 support for every fighting soldier gives about, 23k armoured / infantry soldiers, bearing in mind the REME was 10k when I joined up, so basically halved in 30 years. I think...ish

Was the word “war” Freudian? :p

I completely agree, I saw an article on the BBC (sorry) asking if people lived in a bubble, only communicating with people who agree with their politics and world view. This thread, more than any, shows we can all hold different views but still be friends. Long may it last.
