The current deal is really irrelevant as we voted to leave.
If Mays deal is accepted we cannot negotiate any deals anywhere until the Eu 27 allow us to leave, which they won’t. We’re legally trapped and therefore **.
Hence even the most ardent Brexiteers such as me, and remainers should be concerned it is accepted.
It is appalling, and MP’s “holding their noses” and voting for it is not in the national interest.

Europe is never going to give us a reasonable deal to discourage others following the same path. That’s why we should walk, their economy is bolloxed far worse than ours will be.

Pressure on the EU now....do they agree to short term extension?
May STILL plodding on “with her deal” is incredible. Wtf?
Europe suggesting they’ll agree a short extension if it’s passed.......I bet they will. They must be rolling around the floor in stitches behind the scenes.
Disgraceful and shameful.

You talk as if you are in living in the UK, but you have left the country and now living in Australia, are you coming back?!!

"just watching the news now on brexit, those blooming idiots shouting "Noooooo BREXIT" every time the news crew are interviewing someone outside parliament really irritate me, particularly that one fella every bloody morning with that frickin fog horn, feel like just going there and telling to shut the fook up, is this just me being too sensitiveo@
:lol2:Thats Geoff!

SMDRP bumper sticker holders/members (5) will note the Sun's front page picture today.....taken from OUR unity sticker.

We were there first......they have clearly photoshopped ours (but forgot to do her armpit- not very flattering Madam May)

Do you think this was the plan all along?

Frustrate the population with ineptitude then offer a second vote to convert to a remain result?

Stranger things have happened!
"Remainer" PM who ignored all the advice for 2 years.....and legal advice, twice.....promised votes that didn’t materialise and ultimately ran the clock down to dare I say it D-Day. [Departure Day)
Distinctly possible.

European Democracy In Action

Thanks Theresa

You can have an extension as long as you accept our deal.
Better get used to this if its accepted!!!!

The speed of this response makes you wonder if Mays speach and their reply was coordinated.
Strikes me the UK has now been served an "Ultimatum" by the Eu and OUR Pm.
Lots of interesting stuff on the web about how humans react to these.

She has publically blamed MP’s for what’s occurred....What will they do?
Will they surrender to the Eu/Mays diabolical deal?

This is an interesting read
The PM's conduct puts parliament's long-term vitality in peril
Sky News

"A major constitutional crisis" screamed the headline of The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday. It was joined by a cacophony of others on Fleet Street excoriating parliament and its most senior representative. Read the full story

They don’t want us to leave, they want to make an example of the UK to others contemplating doing so.

May blamed the MPs for voting down her deal twice. If you have an idea that nobody likes then you change it slightly and still nobody likes it that not the fault of your audience but your idea.
So forgive me for saying that the EU has the right to be p!seed off with her. They've negotiated a deal with her that wasn't acceptable to parliament, therefore for her to go back and ask for a delay is nonsensical when they've already agreed terms, she is going to change anything in two months. And we'll be back here again with a stagnant economy as businesses cannot plan got the future, European citizens don't know if the have to register or not, holiday makers don't know if they need a visa or not.

It's just a joke.

I'm not blaming anyone but we cannot live like this in perpetuity.

Good points but you’ve missed an important one.
She ain’t got two months!
She’s only got two months if mp’s approve her deal!
next week!
She’s presented her **** twice and was prevented from doing so again last week for a 3rd time by Bercow.
She’s just gone on Tv slagging MPs all off and it’s their support she needs - for her sh1te deal.
In theory it will need to change for a third attempt.
Nothing’s changed.... other than an ultimatum.
So, do UK MPs like ultimatums, or are they gonna grow some.

Ps. The E.U. are glad they were dealing with such a fuckw1t cos it gave them a deal with control of everything, as u now see.

Couldn’t agree with you more, so Teresa which one of your redlines would you like to ditch? What decision would you like our democratic sovereign parliament to make? When will you put country over party? Don’t like the deal that you and your party put together?? Then change it!

Surely I'm thick, if we are accepting the EU deal, then we don't need an extension! Non! Cos the deal is, you can have an extension if you accept the deal! Confused.com

We need an extension cos the govt after a 1000 days isn’t prepared to leave ... and legislation needs to go through.
So much for leaving on 29th 108 times without a deal.

It's stalemate because one mob want another referendum, another mob want a hard brexit another mob are willing to accept her idea.
Damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.
Oh and that tit Corbyn is behaving like an arrogant rock star.

She can’t change it because Europe won’t renegotiate it. They say she agreed it and that’s it- done.
She agreed a deal that traps the UK and tried to hide the legal advice on it!
That’s why no deal was so important- stops the E.U. pulling this nonsense.
How do u feel about the ultimatum?

Incorrect, she said 108 times we are leaving on 29th and that “no deal is better than a bad deal”
She was lying to the nation.

shes damned because of the course of action she has taken- surrendered to E.U. demands which left us without a position to negotiate
