Brexit Deal

cant see why some people are slagging off May, she inherited this sh1t storm and I personally think she has been doing her level best for the good of the country, some mp's are acting like spoilt children who don't get their own way, we can all talk a good game;)
You need to look in more depth at her actions then. She took on the job, she didn’t inherit it, and said an awful lot of things regarding upholding the vote........and us leaving on 29th.they were lies.
No competent individual with a belief in exit would have done what she did.

I think she has done a reasonable job to a point then found she became out of her depth and has struggled since that point.

I can't blame May for this entirely or even in the majority. There are many many more villains in this more than May IMHO.

It needed a really special person to achieve what we needed here. I suspect this is in the minority or non existent in the current political team....I say team!

I am sure there are many more people from private enterprise that would have done a far better job.

Maybe just maybe project Reality has finally hit home and you simply can’t square the circle or thinking that somehow by changing the singer I.e. the leader you can somehow change the song. Very interesting times we live in and what a load of tripe people have been fed. So much for “this will be the easiest deal in history” Mr David Davies or “only a madman would want to leave the single market” yeah thanks for that Owen Paterson. So Mr Liam Fox Crack on with them amazing trade deals....What’s that Mr distaster capitalist Jacob Rees Mogg....you what! What do you mean you’ve just pocketed 7million quid from your Dublin based wealth fund! I thought you were an anti elite!! Hey ho what fun....Not!

Granted, technically she took on the job and not inherited, however, whilst I don't consider myself an expert on politics what I do know is that this whole fiasco would not have happened if the people knew the entire implications of a leave vote and yes May probably didn't have any belief in exit but clearly for the good of the country imo

I don’t think Brexit was ever given a chance.
Her approach to the negotiations was wrong. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1...enssberg-video-inside-brexit-storm-referendum Multiple individuals have pointed this out.

As a result of her actions and decisions and running the clock down, the UK is now in a dire situation where it holds no cards whatsoever with less than half a month to go.
The situation is so desperate that the worst deal in history is now apparantly being considered as acceptable- that should worry everyone!! Europe must be rolling around the floor laughing behind closed doors.

“we continue to believe that no deal is better than a bad deal” has become the worst deal in history is better than no deal.

Under her leadership her Government has;

Been found to be in contempt of Parliament for the first time in 700 years.

Totally failed to prepare the country for the potential exit to a point where it isnt even ready even if a deal was announced!

awarded multi million pound deals to ferry companies with no boats

had to pay £33,000,000 out of court settlement to Eurotunnel in relation to more botched Brexit preparation.

Got to a point after 108 “we are leaving” to who the **** know what will happen?

Great Job Mrs May, let me congratulate you for your “strong and stable leadership” which has bought us to this ridiculous position......that was in their manifesto.

Wonder why 17.4 million feel betrayed?

And don’t forget the 16.odd million too who feel betrayed. It turns out we were sold a pup or we didn’t believe enough or we needed another leader to have done a better job or, or, or........insert here. ERG had a chance for having Brexit yesterday and they chose not to have it. They blew it big time. So we’ll get the ERG and leavers now moaning. Yeah but, no but, yeah but, no but, yeah but it’s not the Brexit we wanted, Who are the ”remoaners” now.......I can just hear it now, “things could and would have gone better if only...........”

Why would 16 million feel betrayed? You had the opportunity to put your case........APPARANTLY It was so good that no one would vote against it.
The Uk and others have gone to war for 10 years to represent democracy.
We can’t even accept our own.
Bad losers, dishonest mps of winners and losers doesn’t bode well for the future.
No trust anywhere.
By the way I don’t care anymore as I’ll be better off with remain.
I won’t sell my soul though for what I believe in.

And the 20 million who didn't vote. Bet they wished they had now!
What if 51% of them had voted leave Geoff....would they still be ignored?
Ffs, this is pathetic.
No 100% anywhere in history has voted but Geoff thinks this is defensible and an argument.
Note to self.- second referendum, 99% turnout. **** off ignore the result.
Note to self, each and every Hop vote, abstain irrelevant, yes or no, **** off.
Geoff- u deserve Mays deal. **** off

Wattie. Get off your high horse.
My point was the 20m who didn't vote are probably kicking themselves as they could have had an impact on this, be it a large majority for leave or a vote to remain. But they didn't vote. As a democracy your right is to vote or not.

Next thing we’ll see is Farage standing up in the European Parliament begging foreign politicians and imploring the other EU27 members not to offer the U.K. an extension of two years. Talk about working against and undermining our own democratic sovereign parliament. Who’s the enemy of the people now!?!! Err wait is that him actually doing that!! Crikey what’s he up to!!!!
