I understand the legal position and firstly a deal should be negotiated that suits all as best as possible. We all know this is the best outcome but is looking unlikely at the moment.

However as others have mentioned, legal contracts are.broken all the time. The question is what would the EU do about it? Both the UK and the EU now find each other stuck in between a rock and a hard place. We can't leave and can't negotiate a good deal to stay attached. The EU haven't been able to offer us a deal to allow us to stay attached in some trade form. However how can it allow us to leave without some muscle flex to demonstrate its use and power to other member states.

What will the EU and their member states do if we decide to go all gung ho and leave legal or not? Take us to court? What court....how? Military action?

I just don't see a scenario where they can do that much about it. Sure countries can boycott trade but they need stuff from us almost as we need stuff from them. We are net exporters I understand but not sure of exact percentages but thought it wasn't far off 50/50. We would just have to learn to fend for ourselves more and be more self sufficient wouldn't we. We have all the stuff we need but understand we.will need daily supplies but will need to work trade deals.

Is the EU going to stop their members states being able to supply stuff to the UK and place a ban order on them? Sure you can try to place additional duties which may make things more expensive short term but it will come a point where it will just be cheaper to find alternatives from non-eu countries or do it ourselves.

I just don't see a scenario where it all goes to sh1t, falls apart and the UK falls into wanton decline. So much media bull at the moment and people afraid of the unknown. It is an unknown so how do they know what is going to happen? You can't accurately predict the unknown until it happens. You can guess but you never know what is going to happen for sure until it happens.

I don’t understand why we would even contemplate putting ourselves in that situation with Tusk, Juncker st al.
Fortunately neither did Parliament.

If Europe won’t negotiate on the backstop now what makes you think they’ll do so when they hold every card in the deck when they have no desire to see the Uk or anyone else leave.

We can leave legally just now with no deal and in control of our own destiny.

Mays deal doesn’t leave....it merely signals the start of ongoing endless trade negotiations where we have both hands tied behind our backs and might possibly end according to you with us walking away in several years time having wasted god knows how many years because they refuse to negotiate.

This thread could be at several hundred thousand posts by then and we may well run out of bouncing boob vids to lighten it all up!

I didn't vote in the referendum as there was no option for me to vote for. I had no option as couldn't agree to any option offered on the ballot paper.

The only option now as we stand today is to remain or leave...and I mean leave. I don't see a soft Brexit as an option. For me you either stay or go and go 100%

I agree with some of what everyone has said but not all from anyone. I think there in lies the issue. A 100% stay or 100% leave I don't think anyone can argue with this compared to some woolly massively compromised deal for both sides sitting somewhere in the middle. This will just cause conflict and headache's for years to come and will never work.

I agree with the principal of an EU concept. However in reality I don't think it really works. At the current state of play I would fully support a 100% leave and genuinely feel it is our best option medium to long term.

More hysteria. Since when have you known legal advice to suggest something that might not be legal? Of course the AG couldn’t say in writing that we might tear up the deal and walk away. Imagine if the advice had contained that and then been published! But I have little doubt that it will have been discussed as an option by all the intelligent people that have been involved in these discussions.

And which court are you suggesting we could argue about it in? The same court presumably that is taking Trump to task over pulling the US out of the CCA? Come on, let’s apply a little intelligence and common sense to this debate and cut all the media hype.

And as for trade agreements with the EU and the rest of the world, again don’t believe all the nonsense being spoken. There are many existing trade agreement that could be adopted off the shelf with most non-EU countries. We could even simply replicate the EU’s trade agreements with each of them and pretty much carry on on the same terms as before. Same with the EU, we could adopt any number of existing trade agreements, possibly as an interim meansure until something more bespoke was developed.

The EU and most non-UK EU businesses don’t want us to leave, and so they are trying everything to delay or stop that. But once we get past the point of no return, the negotiating position will have to change because then we are talking about real trade between real businesses in an already difficult economic environment. Common sense will prevail. All in IMHO of course.

Now back to the tits!

Sometimes it isn't such a bad idea to throw out the clutter and start afresh. Not sure we should do that in its entirety but a chance to redress lots of things that don't really work or not current.

Sometimes a change is as good as a rest.

Keep the boobs though

Just been reading about the Ferry contract and words beggar belief.
Using a Pizza company contract as a basis.
I've got to the stage where I do not know what is the truth or just Sh1t.
Absolute Mess.
