Seriously this is why I'll never understand the 'Leave' argument. OK we'll leave and have our own trade deals but they take time, fair enough the EU is protectionist but who is it protecting? Erm, us? It encourages internal trade first surely.

Now you’re cooking on gas bud....show me a country that doesn’t need its neighbour.;)

The problem that the UK has with the EU is the 'them and us' mentallity of the Daily Mail and other far right wing press. When the them is actually us. We should engage more with the EU and dissuade the federalism prevalent and encourage diversity within a 'common market'!

And here in lays the problem, you’ve got to be in it to win it, what exactly did our elected MEP’s do over there acting on our behalf.

To be honest probably not much, Farage probably being the most visible if not vocal...

And now they are soon to being sacked with no doubt a huge pension...

I’ve been previously criticised on this thread for apparently not explaining how Gold works and now you’re talking spread betting and CFd’s when apparently you can’t even get your head around computer automation of currency conversion.
.

Nope, just for being technically incorrect and misleading... but I guess your tunnel vision doesn’t allow you to get that you’re lumping it all in the same boat. Oh well, enough time wasted on FX 101

Interesting comment from a caller on LBC tonight (I absolutely hate LBC btw, completely subjective and partial station but that’s another topic)

If you had put an offer on a house based on what the agent told you and your initial impression after the open house, wouldn’t you be allowed to drop that offer or renegotiate it if the survey came back with issues not raised initially??
Like the £400m a week to the NHS and the slew of misstated arguments on BOTH sides back then...

They can't ban Tabasco! What would we put in our Bloody Marys????:eek::eek:
We’ll be fine as we’ll be able to use a number of chilli peppers from India or Mexico or any country of our choosing when we create a trade agreement. May have to wait a while but all will be sunny uplands! Trust me, you just need to beleeeeave more.;)

OMG... you really missing the point but hey fine. Also, I didn’t really know that professional commodity investors / traders (“35years experience”) were now using bullionvault.com
If it makes you happy, you’re right continue to quote your USD denominated investments in GBP... I can’t tell you how to manage your own money afterall.

Diluted Brexit anyone? 39billion red herrings anyone? The Eu did publish 80 technical notices after all and have been prepared for no deal for the last 18months. Still think we are calling their bluff?

No you can’t and It does. After all, the rest of the world seems happy to accept that USD denominated investments have a corresponding GBP value at any given time.

I think we will both agree on your ground break breaking discovery... a bit of a “water boils at 100deg (well in most situations)” sort of statement really
