Britain's budget just did the same. Reduce the cost of borrowing, which allows more breathing space for companies. The UK government like Italy and the rest of the world are taking this very seriously and taking economic steps to combat it as well as public health protection. We need jobs to come back to. Pity the economy that doesn't prepare.

Europe is on the point of implosion and the worse it gets, the more they will flex on Brexit.

Just bumping this thread after watching Italians burning the EU flag. Apparently, the EU held lengthy talks about what they are going to do to help member states during the present crisis and came up with nothing. The Italians are now approaching the Chinese to help them out. The EU will implode because of its red-tape, incompetence and lack of financial fire-power. The silence from the rabid remainers is now deafening...........

Signs of social unrest are unfolding. The Eu ignored Italy’s plight until it’s core was affected.
The Eu is very much on the brink.

Agreed , when the plebs are so poor they cant pay their protection ,the mafiaosa will come calling , Eu have made the fatal mistake of upsetting the mafia

The Eu made the mistake of setting up the Euro.
2nd in Ponzi, only to the US premier league Ponzi.
Surely everyone,even in denial, can see that now.

It aint that easy Wattie , the " deniers" have been calling us deluded nationialist racists for years , we have been portrayed as abusive racist bigots 99% of the time totally unwarranted , to force the issue home they likened us all to Tommy Robinson , when you actually looked and discected their tweets , there forums whatever its clear they were always the ones who were most abusive and abrasive, so they have a huge way to climb down and admit defeat , admit they were wrong in their Judgement .............what really should have spelled it out for them ....if only they had opened their eyes and ears when Commerz Bank announced it was merging with Deutche Bank .................supposedly to only last 9 months before both went titZ up , so Germany was planning emergency measures in late 2018 to return to the Deutchmark .....................that was the final nail in the coffin for me and reaffirmed i was on the right track

It’s very easy Loz.
Look at what’s going on. These countries should not share a single currency.
The latest in a long line of “eye openers” is the virus and it’s impact on bankrupt economies is clear.

I think Italy now knows who does doesn’t support them.

Where are the unifying speeches from Verhofstadt , Junker, Barnier, Tusk et al , dont give the bollux that they have moved on to pastures new ...............we have had every other priminister for the last 20 odd years spouting rhetoric during and after December 12th ...............................................where are they now
