Incredible.
Hilarious too that the Lib Dem’s now think they’re the Bees Knees! If “none of the above” was on the ballot it would have won.

Wattie, there was a massive swing to the centre, independents, greens(not central) and Lib Dems. It was a rejection of extremists within both Labour and the Conservatives. Ukip lost over 100 seats too. People will see that the Brexit party is just a vanity project. Hopefully forage will beggar off underneath the stone he crawled out from.

^^^^^^ Completely agree

Everyone knows that local council elections, mid term, are often a protest vote. The results are also almost nothing to do with Brexit. They are down to people objecting to things like the new car park charges having gone up, or a failure to pave the local roads, or planning consent having been given for a new block of flats, etc... the clue is in the name. Local elections, local issues

In Guildford, the indies are the largest party with 19 followed by the Lib Dems. Mainly due to the green belt changes the tories proposed

Sometimes it’s astonishing what lands in my Facebook feed....

P.S - Names and circumstance have been changed to protect the innocent. Any real or perceived reference to others are down to your own imagination.
P.P.S - No offence intended and I recognise the language is bit OTT.

Why has your avatar got a clock up a bum?
Anyway
In Boro Labour lost control for the first time ever to Indy and Tory
At last as they (Labour) have made a complete mess of the town and were corrupt - allegedly
Mind I am not expecting wonders from the new incumbents but at least there is a bit of hope

Total bollox, local issues are now national issues and about a lack of trust in the democratic process- and rightly so.

Utter nonsense and how on earth can you claim to know that living on the other side of the world???….

Where I live the local council elections have nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to do with Brexit. They are entirely about who is perceived to be doing the most for the local environment, and which group does the best job of showing they understand local issues.

One of the most annoying (and dangerous) things about the farce that is Brexit is that some people, and a lot of the press unfortunately, are fixated on it, and can’t accept there are other topics that people care about.

Cos I know everything Jon:
This is far bigger than your local ****. It’s about trust in the vote u make for anything: it’s about trust in “democracy”
Vote all u like,
We’ll be perceived to represent u
Oh we understand you feel that way, Jon, yes we can change it, all your local problems will be solved. Trust us.
So you vote, you win but then you are all ignored, millions of you.
when a vote is meaningless it’s a very dangerous society and given the UK has projected itself as a beacon of such, it’s an awakening.

Oh and Williamson sacked (Brexiteer by the way) no criminal offence commited.
May says she was right

That will be a first then.

May has refused to give him a copy of the investigative “report”...saying it’s all about trust.
What?

She said we would leave on 29th March 108 times........

Wtf would she know about trust?

She has turned our country into a farce.
