Hmmmmh interesting choice you’ve given with Robert Vaughan, I really liked him in real life (RIP) but sadly the character he played lacked any real substance, suave yes substance not so much but really, thanks for the offer though. Unfortunately I have to sadly decline your gracious offer of getting on your train to nowhereville but again a really big thankyou for your offer though. :D
Fair enough, your honesty is appreciated.
It wouldn’t be appropriate for someone pretending to leave (whilst seeking to remain) to be part of our group.
That would be a poor business model to adopt and could lead to future strife.

Stumbled across this yesterday,
It’s fair to say that this thread has bought out “ The good, the bad and the ugly” in each and everyone of us at times.

This is a Magnificent 7, we’re only 6

Well worth a watch,
I wish I’d learned to play the guitar.

Yes you seem to think that it's a vote? It's not, it's a petition of general dissatisfaction of the Brexit plan or lack of it.

What is really sad is people claiming democracy but then giving death threats to a 77 year old.

The most dangerous slogan so far “No Deal no problem”. Basically no deal no transition the economy will get a shock and we go into recession. I quite frankly am heeding the bank of England’s advice....

I dont think its a vote.
I think its a lot of people with an intention of reversing a "leave" vote.

I agree with the disatisfaction element as I've said before...they invoked A50 with not a clue and May decided she was doing it her way which has led to this shambles. Mays deal is appaling whichever side you sit on!!!

Agree on the death threats too.

1.17, up again WTF is going on?
Maybe if the May rumours are true its a sign that their may be more clarity under someone else.....market positive?
Or no deal is seen as worse for € than £!

Brexiteer Pm arrives, to meet Juncker/Tusk

Pm. Marches straight into the building, firm handshakes, “good morning”, (no photographs, turns around walks for the front door) “follow me”
Jc. Puffs as he struggles to keep up, “so you want a long (hic) extension, while you rethink your (hic) strategy”
Pm. (Still walking), “no actually we want you to exempt or suspend us from the upcoming elections. We’re leaving, you acknowledge that, you don’t really want us to be in Parliament inflaming others to do the same do you? We voted not to be there and besides if we’re exempted we don’t need a long delay and we can leave immediately once our new strategy is agreed”
Dt. “But Eu law doesn’t allow for it!”
Pm. (Still walking) “Change the law, you’ve done it before, QE, Bail ins, LTRO, I could go on.You’ve got a war clause for Parliament sitting, get a leavers clause”
Jc “Nobody’s ever left (hic)”
Pm. “Well we are get used to it, it might come in handy for others”
Dt. “Even if we could (Eu blinks again) we don’t have the time”
Pm. (Abruptly comes to a halt at the front door. Jc/Dt walk into them, Pm stands firm turns around) You’ve got until the last minute as usual, Besides....
Jc/Dt. Besides what?
Pm “If you don’t, it’s no deal. Run along”
(Walks out, no goodbyes)

What is Europe going to do?

Well well,https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...eu-commissioners-can-take-sides-in-elections/

:24186z4:So do it again, rip up your rule book!
This bunch make up the rules to suit themselves...now they're influencing political preferences!!!! I dont think they'll be supporting many brexiteer candidates. Eu democracy in action once again as Italy is discovering

From the beginning I wanted this Commission to have a political value: the Commissioners assume full ownership and political responsibility for all the Commission’s decisions,” Junker said.

Yeah but no-one signed up for that did they!

Anyone thinking this bunch would give us a fair hearing under Mays deal is as stupid as she is.

Run along!

European Commission boss Jean-Claude Juncker has changed the rules governing the political activity of European Union Commissioners, allowing them to actively campaign in the upcoming EU Parliament elections.
Formerly the EU Commission, an unelected body which acts as the bloc’s executive and is the sole initiator of EU-level laws, was regarded as technocratic rather than overtly political, and not supposed to take partisan political stances of its own volition — at least in theory.

But the new rules will allow the Commission to campaign with, endorse, and support candidates and parties ahead of the European Parliament elections set to be held in May, Il Giornale reports.

Wattie the fact that you quote Breitbart is very telling. Now then, Who goes to Europe and tells people “to wear their racism as a badge of honour” oh that’s right a one Steve Bannon, the same Steve bannon who was Donald Trump’s campaign manager in 2016/2017 and oh yes the same Steve Bannon who was executive chairman to Breitbart news. Oh did I mention he was also co-founder of Cambridge Analytica the data harvester “think tank” (face-book scandal anyone?) oh and the same Steve Bannon who is BFF to a one Mr Nigel Farage but anyway you go ahead Wattie and quote them if you want along with the other one, that diamond of accuracy what was it now oh yes “Sputnik” times for all your “nebulous” news needs...:p:D but still love you wattie I think you’re amazing! P..S here’s a slogan you might appreciate “contempt for the conmen, compassion for the conned”

“still love you wattie”
ahhh lets hug it out before we get into it:love6:

Juncker didn’t change the rules then?

It was fake news because someone apparantly racist quoted it, which I used, even though it was reported in an Italian newspaper.

You want diamond accuracy,

Explain this then. http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-19-854_en.htm

They bend and break the rules to oppress anyone that opposes their ideal. “Little Mussolini’s”
Big ******* bullies morelike!
We don’t need to participate in their “rigged pro Eu “ elections and can force them to exclude us.

We just need to grow some.

Meanwhile we have Nigel Farage telling the 200 people on his Brexit March that the one million people on the People's Vote March are the minority......

It is inconsequential, you are right. I'm curious as to why it would make the govt think that the will of the people (whatever that is) has changed. Even by the most generous margin it's less than a third of the people that voted either way.

If you throw in some massive assumptions about who and why is voting?

Not looking for sympathy.
Felt terrible yesterday so packed myself off too bed.Lying there, relaxing watching the sport.Strewth!!! Looks out into garden
Pet kangaroo, Skippy’s escaped, he’s just jumping around the garden,
Spent an hour trying to tie my kangaroo down
Sport- missing it all. Just running around trying to my kangaroo down.
Useless on my own, I’ll call Lou and together we can tie my kangaroo down (He’s on the scene pronto)
Sport- just catching glimpses of it reallly as together we try to tie my kangaroo down.
Lou gives up after 10 minutes, snags himself a snag from the barbie and just sits there playing my digeridoo , while I run around trying to tie my kangaroo down,

Idea, I’ll call my expat mate Steve. We’ve drifted apart in recent months. (He’s a remainer, even tho he's left! some may argue, fair dinkum imo, thats hypocritical/double standards) Steve’s a decent bloke though and is on the scene quickly.
Together we try to tie my kangaroo down,
Sport- no bloody idea what’s going on now. Steve and I are hopeless together. I’ve a plan, he won’t follow it. Steve’s plan is even worse than his wife’s Mays.....who also turns up pleading for me to follow hers. Its total bollox so no chance. May joins Lou and incredibly starts speaking fluent Manchurian, very impressive.

'eseht era yelevol segasuas (these are lovely sausages)' she says.
"i t'nevah dah eno ni sega ( i haven't had one in ages).
Tempted to reply, i remain silent.

Hours pass.
“Don’t be sad when we leave, Steve. don’t be sad when we leave” I tell him.
“There’s still the Eurovision Steve, so please don’t be sad when we leave.”
Altogether now......but,
Steve marches off. Typical. May left well before, catching a flight to Brusssels apparantly.....another Manchurian session.

Skippys standing there, looking at us, bewildered (probably laughing- if kangaroos have a sense of humour).
5 bloody hours now of trying to tie my kangaroo down.
Sports finished.Bugger.
This is ridiculous,
Got my gun. Shot it

Enough Roo steaks for about a month now- ( delicious and very healthy).

Hope your Sunday went better than mine.
