Brexit Deal

Looks like there are moves afoot for the EU to block any request to extend Article 50.

If that were to be the case, then Article 50 would be revoked wouldn't it?

As everyone knows that a no deal Brexit would be a catastrophe all round. o_O
OMG yet more fa**ying around. Can we just get on and leave. Wether it's a catastrophe or not. The sun will still rise the day after.

I do believe in democracy though, even if I don't agree it will be a good thing. It seems those who we put in place fail to grasp this, most fundamental, point.

We don't have democracy, never had done, we have a Parliamentary Democracy.

We vote who we think should be in locally and expect them to carry out THEIR wishes.

How humiliating, what a laughing stock we've become thanks to an incompetent PM and self serving HOP.

Before "remainers" get too smug about whats happened here I would suggest you start praying that the UK doesnt get lumped with "Mays deal" which is the worst of all worlds. A deal that will tie us to Europe (with bugger all legal rights to remove ourselves) and no say in anything whatsoever.......they'll refuse every trade request of ours as they have done till now, to keep us in.

The UK will be totally subserviant to it......indefinitely.

As a leaver I cant accept May's deal and would rather stay in the EU and retain our say........ but I suspect that may not be the case with our Mp's who frankly haven't a clue.

Well what high drama, it was great to see yet again our sovereign democratic parliament in action. Funny I didn’t see one European bureaucrat there telling us what to do (I looked really really carefully and nope not one I tell you).

I guess they are going to need to change the definition in the English Dictionary for the word DEMOCRACY.

Europe haven't done themselves any favours either as have pretty much said.....you did this.....it's your mess....you sort it out. Not much of union is it?

Maybe they need to change the definition for the word UNION as well!

I always thought most politicians were inept before this debacle. In an amazing shift of impossibility they have become more so. What is a word that means worse than inept?!

Agreed, you didn’t because European bureaaucrats completely dominated the negotiations with our useless Mrs David Brent equivalent ( who lied about what she would do and what she had achieved, who ignored all advice from resigning mp’s, (20 Brexiteers have resigned since chequers and remainers stayed, wtf,- she is supposed to representing the referendum result?)she ignored their warnings and indeed the legal advice TWICE) and as a result they, Europe, were allowed to call all the shots leading to them offering us the most dreadful deal ever that has to date, suffered 2 humiliating defeats.

As a result they now have us in the equivalent of a chokehold.

A tap out due very shortly.
I used to laugh at the actions of Greek politicians, ours top that!
Disgrace.

The underlined bit is what I agree with entirely and has been my main argument base for remaining. Stay in and retain our say.

Although this has been a complete wake up call for UK voting population to the fact that the will of the people is not necessarily the will of Parliament.

They represent the people, the people voted, the result has been known for 2 years and there is still no outcome. The whole Cabinet is a shambles and should be sacked. You can't blame May for trying. This is an Embarrassment. Where is our just get on an do it , Best of British attitude? As Dave says the sun will still come up and trade deals will be negotiated.

All of our own making no? What did people expect when they listen to poisonous snake oil salesmen. Glad to see a healthy parliament and democracy alive and kicking though. Yep and definitely didn’t see any European ‘bullies’ in our parliament, looked ever so hard and nope definitely not one in sight in our parliament who make the decisions of the country. Hey ho it’s all good. Ps I’ve been meaning to ask who is that lovely in your Avatar? Stunning and congratulations if she’s real!:D

There’s no wake up call for leavers re Europe but I agree re the treasonous PM and HOP.
I detest everything about the Eu more than I did 2 years ago. What’s more they have danced around our representatives who have been subserviant to them and as a result the UK is a joke!
I’m on the verge of hoping Mays deal gets through as in 3-4 years time each and every one of you remainers will realise wtf has happened and realise just how disastrous it has been and you have no exit.
Karma is a *****.

Well the Bank of England has changed its tune recently....no deal ain’t so bad.......bankers are as poisonous snake as it gets.
Perhaps they changed their tune cos and I note that the ECB has massively revised downwards it’s Euro gdp figures and reinstated the LTRO so that the 3rd largest indebted country in the world, Italy, still gets its €400billion annnual requirement of bonds bought from the all the others.
The Euro is a Ponzi scheme and they need our 37billion.
Go look it up.

After the actions and attitudes of the EU and it's euro politicians it makes me not want to be a part of it even more. Why would you.

The sh1t is hitting the fan but it's your mess.....you sort it out. Your on your own....we don't care. This is our deal and terms....put up or shut up. Nice union!

I wish we would leave and EU don't come crying to us when it all goes to sh1t. If only we were that brave, stupid, clever, confident in actually following through with the will that the majority voted for.

You may as well rip up all rules, regs, police everything as it questions the validity of it all. Shambles. I'm almost embarrassed to be British at the moment which for a proud Brit is tough and weird to say.

We are so much better than this.......or are we?

She isn’t in any position to throw anyone under the bus........I’d throw her though.
