Brera spider roof problems

Can anyone recommend somewhere that can can make it watertight again and also solve the issue that when closing the roof it sticks half way.

Preferably somewhere near to Bristol.

My mate had one and he had trouble with a flap motor on one side. These are on both sides just in front of the horseshoe that covers the hood storage compartment. They’re meant to lift up when the hood is going through the process of lowering and raising the roof. What happened to his and is a common problem is one of the nylon gear cogs chewed up in the flap motor stopping the completion of the roof opening. These cogs can now be bought in an uprated version made of metal.
If this is the problem it’s quite a straight forward to replace it so be careful getting quoted big money.
 
I had one, it didn’t leak but had trouble with the flap motors. There is a kit on eBay. The only other issue I had was the cover catching the boot edge which I adjusted out

Thanks will keep this in mind need to get it watertight 1st as it's outside

Presume better to replace with the kit mentioned than just the cog?
