that is a comedy price, all thats needed is a simple machine shop to make adapters and bells, then just buy off the shelf brembo/AP disks or equivalent, which is far cheaper. This is what I would do, but on the road I find the brakes up to the job.

Part of the problem to be overcome was the tolerance between the wheel and the larger callipers, as you will have noticed on the front wheels the tolerance is only 3mm away between the two

Re the braking ..................under normal every day conditions the braking efficiency is just about adequate at best , where i noticed it severely lacking was maintaining that efficiency with regular continual use , the stock brakes are subject to losing atleast 40% with ever increasing brake fade the more they are used and the hotter they get , this system completely eradicates any kind of fade and increases the overall everyday braking efficiency , are they worth the money ...................not at the above price in my view , but they do give you loads of confidence for late braking without a doubt , excellent for track use aswell

That's silly money, my upgraded Brembo GranTurismo for the Aston are the same diameter disc and similar caliper but have aluminium bells on the dics centre so are far lighter. With rear ally-belled discs as well it came in under £4k including shipping. Those are a step down from the GT kit, stupid price!

CCMs would be more like £12-15kk for information purposes and really aren't wort it unless they come with the car. Even the Porsche boys take them off, run steel GranTurismos and put the CCM back on for selling. Too expensive to risk using hard, and not necessary unless using very, very hard! Mind you, they are amazing... had a very fun day braking for the **** of it, it was as much fun as accelerating!

For a similar package as above (just for the fronts ) but for ceramics i was quoted £5950 for the Gransport , but your right Lewis , the expense of running them for everyday use is plainly not econmical or practical , they have their uses which is really for the track and thats about it

Yes you do need to measure the dimensions accurately, but adapters tolerances are often close, I had the brakes upgraded on my esprit to the run out version, you could just about get a credit card between wheel and calipher. I am not saying that some trial and error might be involved, only that the adapter bracket should be the only specialist bit of kit. I have no doubt they are a great improvement.
