Try holding the button on the fob down for 15 seconds, near the car. It can re-sync it (although that's from memory)
Other issues might be that the button is faulty.

If it's the same as the GT, you need to press it for a couple of seconds to open the boot. It doesn't work with one quick press for some bizarre Italian reason.

OK so different problem then! Not the keyfob <sigh> ;)

Could be a fuse, could be a relay, could be the wiring in the conduit to the boot lid.

I think you're going to have to take it one step at a time

Probably in the boot. So next thing you're going to ask is 'how do I get the boot open'?

There's an emergency release cord under the rear seat squab passenger side. It's a bit of a tough pul and it's not very positive but it should work.

Then find your owner's manual (got one) and the fuses are all listed in the back (with the relays)

I lied. It's under the steering wheel (assuming it's the same as the model I have. Left had column, 3rd one down)

The relay may well be what is referred to as:

Key-Lock solenoid, R26.

I think that's under the trunk floor, right hand set, middle left relay. 20A micro relay

I've noticed on the QP if you have your hand near the release button on the boot while you long press the the boot button on the remote, it unlocks and raises slightly and immediately re-locks..

Like there's a sensor....

What's the point of the long press on the boot button anyway? Short press does nowt.....

Does the key in lock, turn and press down (yes down) not work?

The correct initialisation (not acronym, acronyms are pronounceable) is KUATB...
I think you missed the final letters?

The “polite” version has a YI at the end, the slightly less polite has a YR, and the SportsMaserati version a YFW....?

Have you got the NIT set up for independent boot opening? If not it won’t open.

Reminds me of an Aussie comedian at the festival a while ago. Discussing differing etiquette in France, UK & Australia.
In particular how he would end the show with an "Au revoir, goodnight, p*ss off" regardless.
