That's one of the reasons I don't do wives, they interfere far too much for there own good!

Is that the only reason you don't do wives
Nothing personal, Its just over the years I've come to the conclusion that women and cars don't mix..
And being a petrol head from back in the 1970's one had to go;)

The Quattro with the RS4 running gear sounds entertaining

simply sacrilege, an original rr20 valve is quite rare and valuable car, cant see how anyone would pay even anywhere near the bottom guide price on this thing

Well that is true, I guess.
But then I drove one last year. And erm...

what a 20 valve, were you not impressed?
I was expecting something it didn’t deliver, on the whole very disappointing. And the brakes... think opening the door and using my shoe would be more effective.

Cool looking thing, inside and out, but I was expecting something a little more exciting....
Mind you I found a C63 AMG even more of a disappointment last year, so...

it really depends on whether you expect a 30 year old plus car to behave like a modern day sports car, old classic motors are exactly that "old" and some will be appalling to drive, but that's part of the fun of classic ownership, mate has a 20 valve and must say it's gorgeous thing, I seem to be attracted to box arch machines, quattros were rally champions in the 80's but the one to have is the ultra rare homologated short wheel base rally road going group b version

Oh, I wasn’t expecting modern performance - after all I do drive a lot of older performance cars for my job ;) - it’s just I was expecting it to be a bit more of engaging. I love the looks of it - after all I’m into 80s/90s Masers, Alfas, Alpinas, BMWs etc and that squared off body shape is just my thing. It just wasn’t as exciting as I was hoping it to be.
