I'm very anal with my motors and on the odd occasion my daily runners need some bodywork I take it to my local MD's body shop and I always insist that I must check the repairs before any paint is applied, that way they know they cant cut corners and/or bodge it, not they would because they are very good but you never know, so if you're worried or anal like me just ask to check the repairs as they progress

Thank you for all the replies, the insurance are getting back to me today who they will use. I think I will do as suggested and go for inspections while they repair. I spoke to the insurance company about my concerns, they were quite understanding. They mentioned that they will be able to offer me a few businesses and I may choose. Fingers crossed!

After much back and forth, body work and re-spraying is complete! I picked up the masa last night and drove it for a good couple of hours so glad to have her back

There is only one Maserati approved bodyshop in the South of England and that is Bodytechniks. They are a quality outfit based in Slough. Dick Lovett wouldn't touch mine.
