Blind, foolish impulse purchase of a 4200.

She passed! New handbrake cables and an Italian tune up and it’s a strong MOT pass.

Much relief. Now to pay the tax bill - sadly I want to use it on Saturday so I have to pay a whole extra month. This is an iniquitous stealth tax. **** the government.

Well done Breezer, glad the car passed the MOT
Might be worth getting the tax on the drip as you can control what month you want to take off the road.

She’s polished up quite well! Drove for 3 hours in total on Saturday and aside from needing an alignment it seems fine.

Today I clayed and waxed it, as well as polishing the yellow off the headlights and re-coating them with UV protector. The interior is where the hardest work will be I think!

I have noticed that the brake fluid reservoir lid is broken though, so I need to find a replacement. Are there any alternative parts?

Good effort, well done, glad you are enjoying it now, I'd say a safe bet if you can find a breakers is any 0's Alfa or quite likely a Fiat one would be a match.
