Looking at replacing fuse board on the Spyder. Any ideas if there are other options available?
Has anyone any experience if this fuse board from Galileo Engineering in Italy makes a difference? It isn't cheap but if it works........
My original shows signs of "sorting" in the past with limited success.
Many thanks

The fuse box internals can be easily improved with with thick wires for 12v and the ground, I've been using them on daily biturbo for years. However it's better to have the factory A/C kit with the external relay and fuse.

Mine is way past that stage and has been subject to “repairs” at some point in the past.
When I contacted Galileo they suggested McGraths may be able to supply but speaking to them that is not correct so I have bought direct from them and part is on the way now.
Must say they have been extremely efficient to deal with.

I got a BiturboBox for mine nearly 3 years ago and made a massive improvement to the reliability of the electrics, nothing but praise for Maurizio and, as you say, extremely efficient.

Was told it was very easy to fit, hopefully yours has arrived by now?

Ordered from Italy on Friday and was delivered on the Wednesday. Ordered oil filter from Eurospares on the Thursday and it arrived following Friday! Lol
Good to hear improvement on electrical front. My mechanic said was a very quick easy job. Reckoned it is the only thing that has been since he started looking after the car.
Doing timing belt etc just now but hopefully on road this week sometime.

Had a query today about which particular fuse to use and he replied in detail almost immediately. Highly recommend

Strangely enough, almost exactly what my mechanic said about it as well!

The amount of work that has gone into developing the box and the work Mauritzio continues to put in, on what's really just a passion project is fantastic. All to keep our cars running!
