Anyone know if the passive/normal suspension springs are the same length and load design as the active ones?

Which model are you referring to?

The springs for a 222 (conventional dampers) are the same part number as those for a 2.24v which have the electronic dampers . It’s the same on the Ghibli, different part number to the 222/2.24v but the same part number for springs, irrespective of whether the car is fitted with conventional or electronic dampers. Whether or not these springs are still available from Maserati I’m not sure, you may have to try an aftermarket supplier.

Thanks Dicky. It’s a 2.8 1989 Spyder. I’m guessing the springs are the same length for both but was hoping to confirm. Dimensions as per the attached.

I’ve not found anyone that has springs on-the-shelf so am looking at having some made for £160+vat for the pair. Sounds reasonable.
