Sorry Nik but why do you have a picture of an awful spider? Makes my skin crawl.

Keep telling him that....He did say he was going to bring it to a meet....I would take a spade to that meet just icase it came within smacking distance....Merrian I would have thought you would be used to that sort of thing from where you have come from....Bloody big ones over there as I understand it.

Did toy with bringing my new one on Saturday for you Andy, 5 inches across and nice and tame, likes to be handled ;)

Not a fan either but I handled (well, held... handled implies some sense of mastery which would be misleading) a baboon spider in South Africa once. It was actually quite sweet, just wanted to curl up and sleep in the warmth of my hands. Lazy *******. We had a pet python for a while but I'm more of a dog person.

I thought Biamf this year was not up to scratch, the Masers turned up as was to be expected as it's their anniversary, but a poor show from all other models, seems to be turning into more of a bike show..

Were you there Smaky?

I was in the black GS at the bottom of the lineup next to the silver Spyder, you should have said hello.

Spent a few hours there, didn't even spot Lisknik (but saw his shed though ) and it looks like his 33's washer jet is still working, The 164 Q4 was immaculate and did impress me, The 6c and Pantera turn up every year and I love those too, but who in there right mind gets a GS in yellow??? Oh yeah, a blonde middle aged woman who doesn't know what the flashy orange things are for.....

Hello! I have a yellow GS. Many would say I'm not in my right mind, though!

It's possible that the colour of your car is coincidental to your state of mind, MAF.

Or perhaps it drove you to madness (so to say).

Either way, I love it (your car, not your state of mental health).

Just had my new refurbed wheels fitted and looking round my car, its got loads of scratches on it where people have been brushing past the car.

If I am honest, I dont think I will be going to this event again with my Maserati as I am not happy with the lack of care the barging public have bestowed upon my car.

There were an awful lot of pushchairs, bags and zips in attendance. I'm not looking forward to washing it - slightly nervous about what I might find.

That's awful Matt!
I'd be gutted if I found a new scratch on my car after such an enjoyable day! The Supercars like yours certainly attracts most attention and I'd be very nervous with that amount of people around the car.

I would be quite upset if I had attended only to find the car scratched here and there. I know we run that risk but I try and limit that kind of risk as much as possible..!!

we were saying the amount of people brushing past cars as they walked past was bad and how they will probably be getting scratched to ****, there were handprints on a lot of the cars too :(. where the maseratis were parked everyones coats/bags/kids/shins were bashing across the front of every car they went past :(
