If you are prepared to wait until Le Mans I could go via Autoshield as I meander down to Ashford / portsmouth, which reminds me - Need to book my hotel,,,,

I've got the DBW on my QPV Automatic. Haven't clue what it does really, and can't remember what it was like before. Just had an itch that needed scratching since there's so little you can really do to "upgrade" the performance of these cars in any way. Makes me feel better having a tiny switch underneath the steering column which I can flick one way or the other. Oh this and the X or Aaaaaaaitch pipe which makes the noise different.

Other than that you'll be contemplating spacers, changing your steering wheel, reading up on ECU tuning and coming to the conclusion that it's not really worth it for an additional 30HP if you're lucky, and then looking at carbon fibre parts and or dipping.

Then it will be what tyres, and what colour wheels. And that's about it. After you get all this out of your system you can relax and just enjoy the car, oh and obsess about cleaning and detailing product)

And then you'll decide you want something else completely and do the whole cycle again on a different forum

Am I wrong?

Eb

I'm really only interested in the DBW. Oh and an X-pipe. Oh and braided stainless brake lines. Oh and maybe a BMC air filter. Not to forget a reversing camera. So basically nothing...

Admittedly, I already put a facelift steering wheel in (thanks Iain!)

I'll speak to the guys at Ashford Fast Road Conversions or go Larini.

Will want it in before Le Mans though.

There also appears to be a Larini stockist in Swindon where I'm staying tonight. Phone call in the morning.

Autoshield contacted. Thanks Benny and Iain, for the recommendation. Car is due a service, so a happy coincidence ;)

Great news mate. I was really impressed with Marios- and very good place to get it serviced. Really worth the trip. What he doesn't know about the cars isn't worth knowing!

That spec makes me want to wave my own willy. Good call. Well done. Delivery date is...?

Have not been given an affirmative date as yet but estimated to be sometime in November and this was a cancelled order! I have been told these are now sold out for 24 months at least...

I did a poll of all the hairdressers I know in a 100 Mile radius. And not one of them had a 490bhp convertible Ferrari. Who cuts your hair anup?!

FFS. Just wow. I think I'll book in for a City & Guilds in hairdressing. And buying a horrible shirt.

Surely he would drive a 458 earning that cash? ;)

It's an extraordinary setup. Hats off to the man (literallly, I suppose). I'm just amazed anyone would fork out 20k for a haircut experience day. Maybe that's why I have sh!t hair.

Now, Dan, can you think of anyone who had an expensive haircut?
