Best GS exhaust note

Below is the best exhaust sound Ive ever heard.

Anyone knows what exhaust this car has?

No idea but it does sound nice. It also sound of induction too, so maybe it running aftermarket cone air filter?

I reckon it's almost certainly been de-catted. I'll confirm when I get mine done next winter!

Benny are you going to completely decat your car? Or do you still have cats in your headers?

I'm seriously thinking about going fully de-cat. I've got Larini sports cats on at the moment and, IIRC, there are only 2 cats left. Coupled with an X-pipe and modified GS rears it should bark quite a bit, but have a 'softer' side with the valves closed. Lots of combinations and experiments to try!

While mine has stock cats, stock pipes, the sound is very similar to mine with just the TUBI cans.
Not too soft, not obnoxiously loud.....just right!

I think its a given that you have to refit the cats....or have a Fiat Panda to hand to act as sarogate, if you get my drift ;-)

A sympathetic garage or, if regs tighten, refit the cats for the test.

I've just gutted my two front cats (because they both crumbled into the secondaries, previous thread) and removed the big rears, and welded in 2 stainless bodied metal core 200 cell cats, and it sounds excactly the same as the car on that clip. I've also got an X pipe and through rears BTW, and jesus, it runs so much smoother and more responsive now too.
My mate owns an MOT garage and tested my emmisions after the work.............................yaaaayyyyyyy all good. So why are thet fitted with 4 horrible great restrictive things then ? more for sound emmision than pollution if you ask me.
