My best mate went from an old Norton dominator to a brand new Commando 750 fastback, superb machine, and unlike the Bonney you could actually feel your feet on the footrests over 70 miles and hour
I love Norton Commandos, red Mk3 Roadster is my favourite, never owned one.
Had 2 T160’s Tridents over the years, one when I was 17 and one when I was early 30s, problem was I’d got lankier and the Trident seemed like it shrunk over the years.

Now I'm living permanently in France I want left hand drive since the UK leaving the EU getting a car from anywhere other than a member state is just not worth the hassle.
I saw a QP5 running driving project in the USA for $2,000.
I'm like you Loz I like a value for money project.

Seriously thinking of having a crack at this https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/36798023/clean-title-2015-ferrari-california-sandwich

Just up my street and similar money I paid for the Bentley

Me being oblivious to the latest dramas, seeing snippets of fallout here and there (terrible grammar btw) on this here platform, remember the unity of why we are here in the first place.

Bit more than a simple polish out. How much to restore? Remember, it'll always be Cat S, so won't get the 90k they think.
All bolt on parts, and fitting up , Parts are easily readily available although at a price , by being not so eager and prepared to put in some hard work and travel bargains can be found , mandatory is a master painter , followed by a check at autolign
The fact it has a cat S applied for me is not an issue as i tend to keep my cars a good few years , and when it comes to resale it will be advertised and priced accordingly and will have gone through a good few mot by that time
