I think Aston merely spec’d them I’m sure they didn’t do any of the building, they would simply have credited the build time in the more environmentally friendly Toyota factory to their tally.
They set up a production line at the Factory Newton.
Completely stripped and rebuilt mate to achieve AM quality with paint and trim.
I was there for a while in 2010 and told not to go there in my 4200.

Hence why they were expensive too.
To be honest it was one of those Bullsh1t operations.

I'm not sure to be honest, I only know it's his car because I recognised his drive!

Perhaps he doesn't want to sell it! He really loves that car I am surprised to see it on the market
He has nothing to worry about. In this or any other market- it ain’t going anywhere at £35k

The one in the ad is lower miles than the ones I've seen up for £25k, but does have the cover and fitted luggage. Not sure those three attributes are worth £10k - even assuming the ones up for £25k are worth that.

I think "Very rare and highly collectible appreciating vehicle !!" in the advert may be wishful thinking if he thinks it has appreciated by that much.

Aston built these for one reason......To get its company's emissions down....No other reason...So not typical Aston Martin...It was a cop out just taking a Toyota and tarting it up but the cheapest option to hit their goal. No point designing something from the ground up when money was tight....Its a horrid little car but the only horrid modern car they made for me.
