Makeshift and I were at the Bletchingley car meet today, in Surrey on the A25 East of Redhill and Reigate. Though overcast, the event was well attended. I followed a DB5 into the event and the Maseratis were back to back.

And here are some of the beautifully maintained cars you missed. See you there next meeting, Saturday morning 4th December.

Thanks for coming along, Alan! Looking forward to the next one...

I got chatting to the owner of a lovely 575M... carbon fibre EVERYWHERE inside. CF paddles. CF edged door cards. CF door sills. CF centre console tunnel. And where there wasn't CF, there was beautiful quilted leather. What a lovely place to whisk the miles away...

I've just checked the forecast for tomorrow: Sunny from 11:00 and before that, sunny periods with 30% chance of light rain. 5deg C and 15 mph wind. That's good enough for me at this end of the year. So I will be at Bletchingly tomorrow morning for a bacon bap and probably my last Maserati related meet until March.
The last meeting was good and eclectic. See photos above.
Do come and join me if you can. It would be particularly good to see Martin and Dan.
I will not be there first thing. Needed for early Saturday grocery shopping duties.

Here are some of the wonderfully loved cars you missed at Bletchingley this week end.
I also had the delight of the company of Makeshift and his two Nissan Z car driving friends, whose acquaintance I hope to renew next year when I start going to car meets again.
See you there too? It runs from 8am to 11:00 so that you still have most of the day for other pressing activities.

Bletchingly is on again next weekend, Saturday 19th February. I'll be there 10:00 ish, weather permitting. Perhaps Makeshift will be there too with his newly refurbished QP.
It would be great if you could join us. Bletchingley Arms pub, A25 not far east of Reigate. Bacon rolls available. Finishes about midday, so you get to meet the cars and their owners but you you still have some day left.
