Does seem to stop rust spreading. There’s a bunch of different chemical rust converters and they’re probably much of a muchness.
is a bit of a minefield trying to decide on the best product as they all bang on about their own products and how wonderful it is
The only one I’ve tried that I didn’t like was one that contained latex, supposedly used offshore, it converts the rust and encapsulates it with the latex but made painting very difficult.
I've used POR 15 Metal Prep over the last few years then a coat of isopon zinc 182 and never had any rust reappear, did try the Dinitrol rust converter once and not impressed with it
Yes, but young birds don’t normally have teeth. At least not in Ilkeston because they’ve all dropped out by 21Very Well explained above by Tim and its nasty stuff for sure but it didn't stop birds nesting in the workshop and having young.
