Hey guys tell me, what differences are the plates on old cars over there, I see the Iso had a red plate on the front where's most of the others were similar to the UK

It varies from state to state.
In NSW you can order all sorts of backgrounds including carbon fibre look, but you pay extra fees each year.
In Victoria you can run slimline plates front and rear.
In ACT, I ordered my initials as a once off payment.
In both NSW & ACT you can order Euro style plates too.
