Always fancied one of these. The mk1 design is appealing, but am I just drawn to the black roof and Recaro seats? claim only 800 made.
Is the driving experience really any good? Well aware this engine does have tuning potential :D

a friend had one and loved it. From memory it is a slightly tuned version of the 225bhp 4cy, 240bhp from memory. They were cheap as chips not long ago but anything low volume seems to have appreciated!

I have one. Audi TT quattro Sport - it has the 4 cylinder 1,8 Turbo engine tuned to 240 bhp by quattro GmbH and it was the only TT built in Germany. quattro GmbH removed the rear seats, put the battery in the boot and fitted a 3.2 bodykit as well as tuning the suspension and fitting diamond cut wheels and the two-tone paint. Available in Light Silver, Avus Silver, Misano Red, Phantom Black and Mauritius Blue. With and without the Recaros. Many could not get on with them and had them swapped for the comfort option. If you had factory fit comfort seats like mine then you also get heated seats. Retrofitted seats will not have this. Funny enough was talking to a collector of Audi Ur-quattros yesterday and he has singled this out as the next one in line for that kind of status. It is a special thing.

My Avus Silver example is actually going up for sale soon but will not be cheap given that it is a one owner, 6K mile car and absolutely as new. Lower mileage than even the Audi UK Heritage example. Have loads more photos if interested.

That is lovely and ideal colour. Never knew it was specially built too, thanks for the education.
Are the wheels forged too?

For the longest time I thought the TT was a 2 seater like its contemporaries the SLK and Z4.

I’ve come to like the Mk1 TT, but I’d much rather have an older 916 GTV or a Honda S2000 which is a brilliant car.

A late model 350Z would also be a nice choice.

Would Audi not but it back off you ? Bet that's one of if not the lowest miles example around...

I like all three of the first list, but never driven any S2000.
The 350Z does not appeal so much, bigger proposition all round.

I have a couple of cars Audi UK would like to buy but they only tend to want cars they do not already have. They do already have a TT quattro Sport so they are OK for this.
