Normally they make beautiful cars.
Concept or not.....misses the mark in my book.
Makes the Bentley SUV look attractive......That rear end!!DF9FD157-E383-4689-A591-4070AB57A62B.jpeg01BBB9C4-4B1D-48F4-8330-ACD00316E9E1.jpegjE98A0DEA-25EF-4349-9468-76777806CAE6.jpeg88C08079-8A7C-4F39-A596-4D90C547524A.jpeg

Not their finest work, though it could be improved by changing those hideous wheels.

It’s not exactly easy on the eye is it? I guess time will tell if it is some sort of style leader like the last one, or just a futuristic wet dream!

My boat is unfloated.

Now, Aston's other Geneva reveals were far more enticing:

None of them look anything like Aston’s. Without the badges, you’d never guess who’d made them. At least the Rapide, as ugly as it was, looked like an Aston.

They have the Torefo Levante, a QP, a Gibber and a Matt grey GT (thougt matt paint was so 2010).. and loads of bumff on merchandise . ..Very uninspiring.

As for that Aston Martin Lagonda... let's hope it remains as just a concept... those wheels are 1/2 the size of the car!

The wheels on each of the cars look gross, as if someone bought a job lot in the wrong size and thought they'd use them anyway.

The Beeb reports concern over AM's share price, and I'd be surprised if these latest offerings do anything to improve it.

It looks like a stealth hearse! it's even worse than the monstrosity they designed back in the eighties. :omg:

What are Maserati showing at Geneva this year?

You should do stand up.

They haven't shown anything truly new since the Levante in 2015. Not even a concept. All the dough has been spent at Alfa instead.

Maybe next year. Maybe not.

Agreed, just me or do they make the 5 year old design of the “Alfieri” look a little dated.........
And the potential new Maserati doesn’t even get a reminder showing.
Wtf is Maserati thinking?

Way back in 2000, there was a rumour that Aston Martin were developing a mid engines sports car, so I wrote to them offering to lend my Venturi Atlantique for research purposes. I thought it was the type of car they should have been making, as did Nick Mee (Aston afficianado). They just flatly said no thanks we have it all under control. With all the zillions of super and hyper cars launched since then, I can’t help feeling they’re just playing catch up.

Still, Lagonda aside, they look fab and the debates about where to put the front numberplates will reach new heights.

A mate of mine is a journalist who has interviewed Andy Palmer many times and says he’s a good egg, so I wish them well.

Part of me quite likes it, it’s got something of the William Towns about it.

The really big down side to me is if you showed it me without the badges I’d bet you it was a Volvo.
