Assistance

Hi all
Have been facing technical issues with my Maserati Granturismo Sport recently, latest one being; alarm has been going off so I tried using the button on my key to unlock but that didn't. Used the spare key and faced the same issue. I cannot even manually open the doors with the keys! Any advice is what I can do to be able to get into the car is much appreciated
Thanks

You should be able to manually open the door with the mechanical lock, not the micro switch. It hasn’t deadlocked, it’s just flattened the battery. Then there’s a pull chord in the NSR passenger footwell to open the boot. Then you can charge the battery and diagnose and fix the alarm.

Appreciate the response. Please excuse my lack of knowledge but what do you mean by a mechanical lock and micro switch? I have attached a picture of both car keys. I've manually inserted the key into the door locks on both drivers and passenger side. I can hear the car unlocking but the doors do not open. Alarm was going off for quite some time but is silent now which means the battery is dead.

Behind (i.e. where your fingers sit when you grab the handle) the door handle there are two buttons. The one towards the front of the car is electrically assisted. The one towards the back of the car is old school. So get your key. Pop it on the lock. Turn it to unlock the door then use the *rearmost* button behind the door handle to open the door. It might well be stiff due to lack of use, but unless something is physically broken (or it's Christine) you will be able to open the door
