You’ll have seen my recent thread regards a watch stand here

Some of you mocked, pffft. Well a certain gentleman got his tools out and without being asked made me this below.
Loz you are a true gent and the stand is genuinely perfect, it really is.

Really nice simple design, perfect size and feels solid which it is.

This also gives me an opportunity to advertise the fact that I own a Rolex as I know we like that on here. Nothing screams out success like a Rolex and a 10 year old Maserati.

Thanks again Loz. It will most certainly be used ! (PS I’m working from home today and blatantly staged the pic to make me look very clever)

Ladies ladies please, clearly it’s a 50/50 thing.

Relax, it’s Saturday evening, pour a drink or two.

Slip on a pair of your favourite slippers, pour yourself a drink and play that favourite record.

cheers

Indeed. I’m doing exactly that whilst renewing the watch strap on my Freeson which was a 50th birthday gift to to myself last year. A mate bought me a LeMans poster and a copy of MotorSport from June 1968 when I was born. Flicking through the adverts in the magazine I found a Swiss watch advert which caught my eye, so ended up on eBay. It’s not a Rolex, but I look forward to winding it up and putting it on after work everyday.63151

Two very nice watches there gents.

I have a speedmaster 50th anniversary edition one as well. The anniversary of the watch not the moon landing one as they are two different watches, well loosely different lol

Just discovered this thread. The stand looks great, and what a generous gesture.
Is there an existing 'watch thread', if not, is there support for starting one?

There's one kicking around somewhere I think. Our watches tend to crop up in all sorts of other threads. Most favour Rolexes. Personally I lean towards Tags and Brietlings. So much so I'm looking at buying (another) one, only with a car attached :D
