Thanks for all the good wishes guys - much appreciated.
It’s been quite a night as I have also learnt that one of my “Mustang” buddies is seriously ill and on a ventilator and within the last 30mins my sister law has told us she has tested positive - thankfully no symptoms.
Take it seriously guys and stay safe.
Big brothers oxygen levels all good this morning
He still feel like **** though

It doesn't seem fair that multi millionaire Rita ora can do what she wants because she can afford bribes and fines but she pays the same fine as 2 lads who organised a snowball fight

Two men given £10,000 fines for organising snowball fight during lockdown
Two men involved in organising a mass snowball fight have each been given £10,000 fines for a "blatant breach" of lockdown rules.
West Yorkshire Police said the unnamed 20-year-old and 23-year-old were tracked down after hundreds of people gathered for more than two hours on Woodhouse Moor, Leeds, on January 14, creating "a significant and completely unnecessary risk of increasing the spread of the virus".
The snowball fight was filmed and widely shared on social media, provoking widespread condemnation as England endured freezing temperatures and strict lockdown rules, with many blaming students for the event.

I dont know about “bribes”, but I agree that there seem to have been a number of clear breaches by high profile celebs where the £10k fine has not been applied which is wrong and unfair.
If anything we should be tougher on those in the public eye who have greater influence over other.
Fines should be applied consistently.

It's been reported she paid the restaurant 5k to breach covid rules and open for her party

Took my dad for his vaccination today. Enjoyable 30 minute wait watching the comedy parking capers. Never seen so many cauliflower heads and old duffers in one place.

Probably the most dangerous place in Wales.
It was like that when I took my mum. Good half hours entertainment. Why do the oldest park furthest away?

Probably why driverless cars are the future , imagine all those electric cars taking off like scalded cats with old duffers screaming behind the wheel

Same when I went for my test. 45 minutes of car park chaos, they did have people trying to direct you but they had no coordination, or communication between them, let alone a clue of how to do it.

When my wife took her parents it was all very well organised and running on time, but social distancing had gone out of the window !

I was a volunteer marshall for 6 hours recently at such an event so can concur with every word! - Should have been paid 'danger money'.

Happy to say I had my first cv19 vaccination on Friday (AZ Oxford). All went well.
Being in the "clinically extremely vulnerable" category I have been a sheilder for the most part.
However, after 10mths I decided I needed to get back to work and have some normality, so have been going back offshore for a few months now. I shield when I'm home, but obviously can't when at work.

I feel its as safe as it can be, with everyone being tested prior to going out, daily temperature/symptom checks with the medic and masks and sanitiser everywhere, but obviously if cv19 made it out there, it would spread rapidly with the communial living etc.

Being vaccinated, just gives a piece of mind, that if I did get it, it would hopefully be less serious.
I am immunosuppressed so the efficacy maybe somewhat questionable, but every little helps.

Excellent. I'm in the same boat. Overreactive autoimmune system. Had my first Wednesday anticipating system overreaction. Only mild so far looking good.
Still shielding.
Good luck
