Some on here are already on a different planet ;)
You see it on the news everyday, Its always me,me and my little business and have you noticed they always blame the government when it all goes pear shaped when they really haven't got a clue!

There's always the free taxpayer funded 90 quid a week get out of free card to fall back on if your up to date with your NI payments!

there’s a theoretical probability vaccine DNA can integrate into your genome. If it’s admitted it's a theoretical possibility, you can bet your bottom dollar it WILL happen.
What happens if your DNA gets mutated?

JV Tamm was on tv this morning BBC2 0900 answering peoples 'phone in Q's
He was excellent. He even shouted down the anchor woman's interruptions to complete his answer.
He is on again today at 4pm I think. Not sure if it is a repeat or not. Still I will be watching
Brilliant man

What do you mean a different planet, what do you base that on, have you got any facts to substantiate that, there are a lot on here who are fact checkers, not me, but be careful. They do exist. Personally I would prefer not to be on a different planet, imagine the travel insurance.

The atmosphere's terrible, I've heard.

Just discovered that In tier 2 you can go to a COVID secure cinema and get a drink to consume at your seat, strange but true and very welcome.

off to the gorilla Rex Cinema in Berkhamsted this evening, my wife will be driving home :p

He's one of two scientists who I would like to see recognised in the New Years honours for the work that they have done to get us to this point with a Covid vaccine. He is extremely effective in talking in laymens terms about Covid along with another chap Dr John Campbell (YouTube) who has been excellent in distilling down a lot of complex information in to simple messages every day since this pandemic started. A straight talker who talks about the facts and not with any political bias. So both get my vote.

Watched Sky the other night on the “vaccine” roll out. Sadly most of those elderly in the report being touted as priority candidates didn’t seem to have much awareness of their surroundings.
Nursing homes it seems will have to wait even longer.
Frail seems a decent description of most of the vulnerable individuals
It’s going to be interesting to see how they deal with the immediate effects of said vaccine as by all accounts it’s far from a walk in the park- and how such is reported.

Sorry Wattie, but not sure what you mean by far from a walk in the park, and how much is reported, just curious.

it's quite a dilemma, my parents are in their 80's and my farther had a quad heart bypass and valve early this year, if the side effects are as harsh as they say, will it not cause further issues for the elderly with underlying health issues, surely there must be some medical screening to see whether some of the elderly would be put at risk with such side effects

I’m torn, on the basis I’ve never had a flu jab, or had the flu, never really had a bad cold, and my experience of covid was practically non existent....
Do I really need it?

Probably nothing.

All I do with most of my decisions in business or personally is feed as much information I can find into my head. Then pocess all the data and make as best as an informed decision as I can.

To me at the moment the unanswered potential downsides far outweigh the potential likely statistical upsides for me. I will not accept the vaccine until other guinea pigs have proven it and I get to a point that the upsides start to outweigh the downsides.

At a guess I expect this to be a long time away if at all. I have never had a flu jab, don't see I need one and likely won't take one if offered.

If they try to force a vaccine on me they will need to lock me up. Or tie me up and force it into me.
