If you keep your distance from everyone else then you should be safe whether they are wearing a mask or not and, if you wash /cleanse your hands as often as you want what does it matter if I don’t? Are you going to handle my cup, cutlery, plate or shopping? I suspect not, so what does it matter if I wash my hands (more than normal) or not? Look after yourself and if you are not happy with a situation, then get out of it. I’m taking my chances and if I get sick I won’t be bothering the NHS. Consequently I won’t be getting a Covid test as all that proves is either you have it or you don’t. At that moment. The sooner we can start tailoring this situation to our personal needs the better or the country will lurch from lock-down to crisis to lock-down.
As I said, I agree that my life is my responsibility, so am doing all those things I feel necessary to say as safe as practicable.
But I'm also doing those things so I don't unknowingly pass a virus on to someone else that may end up seriously ill or dead.
I really don't see it as much of a sacrifice.
Can you explain why you do? (genuinely interested)
