I see in the press Matt Hancock now threatening to close the beaches after the last few days.
Chris Witty getting very concerned.
Certainly interesting times.

Quite interesting. Papers showing pictures of beaches “don’t throw it away”
week ago they showed pictures of London with thousands marching with “time for change”
Press - waste of money ! Self serving £&@“s

I don't understand why some people leave their rubbish behind, friends in Bournemouth were out late last night and early this morning clearing over peoples **** but you can bet it will be the same again today.

Our local beach was busy yesterday, not like Bournemouth, but when we took the dog down in the evening there were only two water bottles visible and those look like they had been washed in

It's laziness and yet again the self entitled who have the attitude "someone else can pick that up, will give them a job".

Boils my p*ss!

Disgusting
Lack of parental teaching to their children over the years
We are filthy.
Why have we not been using sanitiser, washing hands regularly etc before the virus

With regard to Covid 19 confirmed cases and deaths attributed to same, can anyone explain the following and should we be looking deeper into why. Believe me, these are not all third world countries hiding the true statistics, the world is looking on so they can’t get away with that.
Vietnam cases 353, Singapore 43,246 cases, dead 26. Malaysia cases 8606, 121 dead. South Korea cases 12,602, dead 282. Thailand 3162 cases, 58 dead. Myanmar 293 cases, 6 dead. UK cases 310,250, dead 43,514. What is happening with SE Asia, are there lessons to be learnt. Even Thailand and Vietnam have Today been given green status by the UK, while the likes of Spain are still amber ? So someone believes the statistics, they are not all fake!

I do not know the answer, but I do know lockdown was fast and enforced to military standards, track and trace has been effectively operating for 3 months, No flights to or from these countries or even regional flights for months. And strict quarantine, plus attitudes are totally different with regard to conforming to advice, rules and regulations. These are not all police states, but there has been enforcement of the regulations, combined with reasonable consequences if not adhered to. I really don’t know, but they have done something right.

You are correct about our respective governments' responses but there are several factors that increase susceptibility.
Might it have something to do with SE Asians being less susceptible to the virus than white Europeans who are in turn less susceptible than people of BAME origins or maybe it's because they are generally less obese than Europeans? Until this is all over, who really knows?
