She will be told an hour before it arrives on the drive , she has an inklin though , stuff has been arriving through the post lol , she,ll be fine once she hears it ,
Did she ever say those immortal words of 'it's your money, you do what you want'?

Be aware mate, the meaning is somewhat different.

I like the she'll be told bit.. you don't want to get anxious about buying stuff with your own money!

I prefer the old Harold Wilson saying , "The pound in your pocket is yours , the rest is mine lol". or the the Ozzie saying , " she'll be right"

Who's fault is this:

BBC News - Coronavirus: Resort locals 'shocked and angry' at beach crowds

Are all these people on furlough on the beach when they should be in the fields picking fruit, or infact working for me!
I'm struggling to get contractors to work on my projects because they would rather be on furlough, and those that have come out of furlough to work are just giving grief because they wanted to remain on furlough!

When I bought it, I let swmbo go ahead into Spoons as we were meeting friends. I then (15 minutes) later walked in and announced I had bought a car. Nowt she could do. We were in company.

Welcome to the world of the less than average self entitled British work force. I’ve had it here, Scotland, Wales, in general they want paying for turning up. Happens a lot in oil and gas/ chemical industries. Boils my ****!!!

Agreed with this. I am pretty annoyed with many attitudes as well. Maybe it should have been phrases differently.

For all furloughed staff the country is paying you 80% of your basic wage to stay at home, sit on your a4se and do nothing. You are in affect being well paid to do nothing so please do it and do it well.

Then we have some staff in the hospitality sector moaning that they are only being paid 80% of their basic wage and not their full earnings as their tips aren't included.

We are in the middle of a dual health and financial crisis for Pete's sake. This word 'essential' has been used a few times now recently and half the country seemingly has no idea what that means.

How would they feel if they had no job and no income at all? Would that be better for them? Maybe then they would appreciate more what they have rather than what they haven't got compared to what they had before.

Very different picture in Wales.....Same day and vertuly deserted Barry Island beach. Living here in the border town of Chepstow we have seen more Police on the road.....They have been pulling over cars a motorbikes that look like they are not on essential travel.....A gaggle of Harley Davidsons pulled over Satutday and sent back to England......I have been critical of the Welsh Government but they are doing what they said they would.....l

I might as well start looking for a new job.
If the aviation industry hasn't already taken a battering, then this will kick it whilst it's down. Pritti Ugley is a B!Tch trying to make a name for herself in the most pointless piece of legislation going that's going to do more harm than good.

I have to admit that this quarantine **** has to be the worst thought out idea ever. This cannot be advised by science surely. It is a political decision. To what ends I cannot guess.

I can see the reasoning behind it, but not when you have thousands of HGV drivers coming over that are exempt.
