Just read something similar in the paper. Seems that ventilation may not be the best solution. This does seem to match with the impact on porphyrin, perhaps.

C
I said from the start the obsession with ventilators was diverting attention away from crucial areas such as PPE and understanding the pathogenesis better. There is some criticism now of that porphyrin paper in the scientific literature but I believe it has some merit that needs further investigation. They need to sort out PPE, get more testing done, roll out antibody testing to improve the morale and workforce (and hope it correlates with long term clinical outcomes), and pray for a vaccine! The BCg data is interesting. So based on the evidence it’s best to have a sex change with hormone therapy (male to female), lose weight, control your BP (but don’t take ACE inhibitors), take vitamin C and D , wash your hands, socially isolate, do exercise to increase your lung capacity wear masks if you have to go out. Keep yourself warm, sleep lots & and stay upbeat and happy.

That malignant fuckpig was always interested in No1
Ok, so I've just sat through the entire collection of Guy Ritchie movies... And not once did i hear that term. I do believe you may lay claim to inventing this word. I'll try it out for myself.... Think I'll have to be very careful about the when, where and who...

My daughter is also a nurse and is having her own bad experience regarding PPE (well lack of) but equally important those in charge do not seem to know what they need so how on earth can they ensure they have it.
On Tuesday my daughter got a sore throat and running nose, she feels fine and it’s most likely just a cold.
But her manager was not sure what to do and had to make a call, she was then sent home to self isolate, no offer of a test that could have enabled her to stay at work.
Good news - my daughter got contacted today and will be tested tomorrow , unbelievably she has to travel for Surrey to Stanstead for the test but at least it’s being done and she may get back to work soon.

Which of these statements has been proven wrong?
1 and 2 were correct. 3 may have been correct - No one knows what happened. For him to go to ITU and be out within 4-5 days is highly unusual. I think I know why! Not sure other 55 year olds would be so lucky.
It’s a great pick me up for the london healthcare system which has been battered recently - so overall a positive result!
A positive result.... Following a 'positive result'? So positive result + positive result.... = negative result? Now I'm getting myself confused...

I despair , it's all over the news , don't go out, talk about mixed messages, when 3000 people turn up to walk round Stonehenge they can say the NPCC said it was ok

"Stay upbeat and happy" is not quite so easy to do right now, particularly you are three people in a one bedroom flat 24/7. That's not me, but I get it, do you?

Here’s another bit of good news.

An old friend who will be 90 in August, fell in his house on the 29th March and was admitted to Ninewells hospital in Dundee. On Tuesday 31st March he was diagnosed with the virus. Given that he is undergoing medication for prostrate cancer and other health issues I didn’t hold out much hope for him.

Today he was well enough to be released from Ninewells. Hopefully he continues to gain strength.

Quite a good press conference tonight but couple of things.
1/ Watched on BBC and your stupid "breaking news" banner in bright red totally obliterated the message from the government message stay home protect the NHS save lives on the podiums. Somebody from the government.....have a word!
2/ 1038 dead today, biggest number yet and yet journalists asking when we are coming out of lockdown? No time soon sweetheart!
3/ That nurse Ruth has glammed up a lot since her last appearance, hair cut, top makeup job and pretty dress rather than scrubs. Just saying on that, not necessarily critisizing.
4/ Thought professor Van-Tam spoke well, was honest about oxygen, said to wife afterwards that honesty is ALWAYS the best policy. DOn't lie to the public, it will come out if you do.
5/ What are peoples thoughts on Robert Jenrick and his visits to various homes.

Please convey my thanks to ANYONE who is doing a really difficult job in these conditions, they are surely the stars.
However, I will add that the social ramifications on people in the circumstances I describe are going to be felt in this country for years.

I was being a bit sarcastic with that one as Certain forum members seem to think that other members are too negative...what is there to be happy about right now!

I didn't detect ANY sarcasm in your post, really don't know how I missed that. I havn't detected in any of your previous posts and there have been a lot.
In all seriousness, how can anyone in the world be happy right now. Show me some really good news, I'd really love to see it.

Just watched the Trump briefing to the American people re the virus on Sky!
It was a comedy - a farce
Compared to the UK briefing ours is slick professional and honest. Theirs was amateur with only one lectern which allowed a dance between speakers and Trump was, well Trump.
Have a look and you will see the UK in a great light for all of our perceived flaws. Heaven help our colonial cousins

Great word, fuckpig. Also interesting that you can say it on here. Fuckpig. FUCKPIG.
I'm a big fan of composite swearing personally.

Pissflap (biological connotones, but makes no sense anatomically)
