We just took a quick trip to the beach, we need bread and milk and it's on the way, gave dog and kids some room to burn off some energy - true social distancing there was us and 2 miles of empty beach in both directions

Tough times but no reason for standards to slip. The equally great, in a gravelly pub caller kind of way, Tony Green said "In one..."

The masterful late Sid Waddell uttered the immortal line:

"When Alexander of Macedonia was 33, he cried salt tears because there were no more worlds to conquer … [Eric] Bristow's only 27."

“The players are under so much duress, it’s like duressic park out there”

And...

“Darts players are fitter than footballers in overall body strength”

We could do an entire thread... RIP Sid. Legend

Wow a Fletcher Arrow.
I had a Shakespeare with a 80HP Mercury blue band many years ago.

My Dad had a few speedboats when it was younger.
Most fun was a Sims super V with a 1600 Ford Cross flow and jet drive. Could do a 180 in its own length!
Fastest was a Dateline Bounty with a Mercruiser V6 225 sterndrive. They only made one, engine was too heavy for the boat and it looked like it was sinking at the rear! However it could pop me out when mono skiing like I wasn't even there, and on a flat lake, full trimmed out, could top over 50 mph, which was fast back in the late 80's!

So I have been out in my garden today and can see the main road towards Frinton and Walton. The crowds appear to be flocking out in their droves, far busier than usual. Perhaps they are all heading to get provisions!
Also BBC are suggesting they are getting similar info. (strapline on bottom of screen).
Thought anyone?
The morons are out in their droves again, despite all the warnings and appeals..the message could not be clearer but still it goes on. Unreal..

popped out briefly to get some essentials and quite gobsmacked how some morons are still not getting the simple message, a number of police having a word with groups and surrey police copter hovering about presumably keeping a watchful eye from above, clearly there are still some dense brain dead people out there that think this is all a bit of a laugh:mad:
