@Silvercat

Maybe your theory was on the money.

Welcome to the future.

Utter madness.
What are they trying to achieve with this?
More fear? What about kids...?

When do we get to a point where you’re not allowed to “mingle” at all......

Total BS.

They were selling Lidl plastic Bags ?

Fail :D
Another member of Boris's never been to a car boot sale club which I guess is why they're open

He was in Prestatyn last week , they cancelled the boot sale in case he turned up and thought **** me we'll have to close this down :D

If you can confirm that Boris has never been to a car boot sale I will be voting for him next time round.

Wandered in here for a look, see nothing changed

Looks like we should be getting vaccinations soon but not planning any trips until later in the year. It would be nice to get to see UK family & friends either in the UK or over here only time will tell

Not a fan then , of Boris or boot sales

I doubt you'd get a straight answer if you asked him as he's a politician but i'm sure he'd manage a hundred words on the subject but still leave you thinking WTF.

I love a boot sale , you never know what you'll find , you have to be there at 5am though

Only ever been to one. Many years ago took a load of stuff we’d sorted before we moved. Arrived at 6am and was immediately surrounded by pikeys before the car even stopped. I bet they can sniff a rookie out from miles away. Then you get the seasoned car booters knocking you down from 20p to 15. Was an experience but one not to be repeated.

Agreed. It certainly resembles a fossilised marine animal from the class Crinoidea, one of the classes of the phylum Echinodermata, which also includes the starfish, brittle stars, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. Would you say this one is an early example from the Middle Cambrian (so around 300 million years before dinosaurs)? I know they flourished in the Palaeozoic and Mesozoic, and some survive to the present day, but I guess this one didn't make it that far.

Who says car boot sales are full of pikies. You get some committed geologists at the better ones. Sniffing out bargains. And rookies. And crinoid stems.

Yes exactly, same old fear-mongering and whining.

But then you get a lovely sparkle of unexpected information like this:
