Good to see the BBC using the scissors to cut previous interviews tonight to fit tonight’s narrative.
Truly abhorrent

They're plastering social media to stir everybody up too

A 25 year old teacher has died with coronavirus , 25 year old footballers, as fit as they'll ever be have died suddenly on the pitch through undiagnosed heart conditions so it's not unusual for a 25 year old to suddenly die, in my own personal experience "suddenly" in the press involves a handful of pills

It's very sad but dying with it isn't the same as dying of it but the Facebook masses are out in force shouting about how awful it is

“With it” seems to be the common parlance, I don’t think they’ve used “of it” to my recollection

It needs to be done if only to scare those under pensionable age that they’re not immune and the rules are there for a reason.

Officially it's 'for any reason within 28 days of a positive test'
There's another metric where 'Covid 19 is mentioned on the death certificate' and still a third where it's the primary cause of death.

One of the interesting discrepancies is that the graphs that show by date of death look significantly different from the one the media like which shows by date reported.

Well I got a call this afternoon to say that my brother who is 62yrs old and has had COVID for the past week had felt disoriented and had problems with his oxygen levels - recordings during an hours monitoring were on at around 93%.
Paramedics came out to him and measured oxygen at 93% but after some breathing exercises it was back up to 97%.
He has to continue the exercises every hour and call again if they fall.
So I am a little worried for him.
On a positive note, his £14.99 oxygen monitor seemed to give accurate readings.
Thanks for all the good wishes guys - much appreciated.
It’s been quite a night as I have also learnt that one of my “Mustang” buddies is seriously ill and on a ventilator and within the last 30mins my sister law has told us she has tested positive - thankfully no symptoms.
Take it seriously guys and stay safe.

I’m glad your sister in law is ok. FYI when you get your vaccination, be prepared for feeling grotty. If you’ve had the virus, you will get side effects, because you have antibodies.

Got asked to be part of a study to look at infection rates a couple of weeks ago. Test kit arrived today, we’ll see.

Must affect people differently - all her indoors had was a sore arm...

Watching the news and wondering who decided news reporters, weather forecasters etc are essential workers, which then brings us on to talk show hosts, e.g. loose women etc etc...

As I think recent discussions have illustrated there are many differing views on exactly what is essential and what is not.....

True. Robert Peston. Now he is not essential.

I think we can agree on that!

I mean the extremes are obvious. At one end we have Robert Peston and Hugh Pym. At the other, a 300 mile round trip to test drive an old Bentley. It's the grey area in between that causes so much un-happiness :)
