TCS Rated AA+ with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) of 78.3, the highest within the IT Services industry. They must have fudged the ratings then. Lol.

Or they've got a really good marketing and sales team (which IME) they have.

They never paid me on time once, made me do a ridiculously long Agile course cos they are 'an Agile Company'. Their portal is painfully slow, they some app for iPhone that aren't certified to run on iOS, so none of them worked, then offered to take me on permanently at less then Aldi till money and got most disgruntled when I refused, told them to Foxtrot Oscar.

Easily the worst company I've done work for and I wasn't the only one at the Airline thinking that.

TCS is one of the top three providers of IT and IT-enabled services in the UK. So I really feel the service they offer must be of a good calibre. Furthermore I think considering TCS is approx 40 years younger than IBM and Infosys approx 60 years younger than IBM. What they have both achieved is remarkable.

It’s a shame that happened to you. But we all know people who have been in these situations with various companies and their actions. My point was simply that 2 of the best IT companies in the world are there for a reason. There will be the odd disgruntled IBM staff members or contractors, but do their grievances make IBM a bad company?

The left wingers will whine about Maggie for the rest of time yet no one else can remember who Scargill was. He thought the Unions could bend the Tories to his will and used the dying coal industry as the anvil on which to do it. He misunderstood who he was dealing with. Also, anyone who thinks we would have been better off giving the Falklands to the Argies is living in cloud cuckoo land, and should ask themselves why the Argies want them so bad.

If i recollect correctly it was the fact that MV Endurance (survey ship) had been in the area for some time , obviously on oil exploration that initially prompted the Argies to rekindle their fondness for the isles, couple that with a failing Argentinian government needing public kudos and support to maintain its dictatorship , hey presto's a spanish armada was sent , they didnt bank on the UK sending a bigger one headed by sir Francis Drake and Benny ( who i might add was still playing bowls on Plymouth hoe lol )

Well I’m afraid to say I’ve heard a good word said about TCS, they’re good at getting the work but **** at delivering it.

Worked with IBM too, they are good at getting work too, better at delivering it and have a great workplace culture which TCS definitely don’t.

Again evidence suggests otherwise. But never mind.

Amusingly you appear to be rating journalism as more indicative than actual, prima facia evidence. Of course it's only the of us having experience of maybe a couple of hundred TCS employees out of a company 4m people so hardly statistically relevant :lol2:

You really couldn't make this up
3 seriously injured cliff diving in Dorset

Beach looks busy
View attachment 70824

So 3 stupid * jumping off the cliffs could now have spread CV19 to thousands because they needed 2 helicopters
View attachment 70825
If that is a genuine picture people should be ashamed of themselves - why not evacuate the beach and as for the ***** jumping off the rocks, there were not worth one helicoptered alone two!

There is a video on line of a bunch of idiots at Beachy Head, peering over the edge and even letting kids peers over - utter madness.

Not really. The amusing bit to me is that people who may have had a bad experience then tarnish organisations as a whole. It seems that those people would be in a minority, hence The Times mentioning TCS for its outstanding commitment to workplace engagement. Saying TCS definitely doesn’t have a great workplace culture really doesn’t sit flush with The Times but then again it’s only The Times arguably the most trusted paper in the UK according to an Oxford University report. Lol.

It’s because they are cheap. One of their lads who was supposed to be going call was to be paid £15 a WEEK flat rate. I’d have told them where to stick it, but CV19 killed it project and we were both out.

I was relieved to be honest.

This is the only Indian IT consultancy I’ve worked for but I’ve worked with all the others and they’ve all been cr4p. Seen some tremendous fuuck ups due to much cheapness mainly in banking, everyone’s seen that.

Accenture have a bad rep too, never worked for them tho. IBM and Fujitsu great, CSC bad, Cap Gem good.

I could go on but I’m getting piissed on the ferry, got conned into a four for the price of three deal on draught Stella then they tell me bar (hole in bar shutter) closes at nine and I’m only on my second...

I have had dealings on and off over the last 20 years with outsourcing to India (and HSBC was one of them). A total waste of time. The talented folks have already buggered off to America. Go figure.

Fixed your quoting there.
Couple of points:
  1. I have no experience first hand of TCS workplace engagement as I have never been a TCS employee
  2. I've not said that TCS definitely does not have a great workplace culture.

I've simply stated my experience which directly contradicts your original assertion. TCS may well be a wonderful employer but as I've tried to point out that does not mean they are great at providing service.

You appear to be conflating being an employee and their experience with being a customer and their experience. 'LOL'

Point 2 I was referring to a point made by Wanderer appreciate it wasn’t said by you.

“TCS may well be a wonderful employer but as I've tried to point out that does not mean they are great at providing service.”

Not sure I understand the above as clearly if TCS wasn’t providing a good service how would they grow and continue to be a major player.

“ Of course it's only the of us having experience of maybe a couple of hundred TCS employees out of a company 4m people so hardly statistically relevant “

Unless I misread what you have stated TCS has about 450k workforce worldwide so not sure where you got the 4m ( if that is 4 million). Probably not from a broadsheet :D
