Wow, just wow IMO.......
Personally I don’t think they’ve ever looked better.....the final silver arrows looks stunning, even the halo looks superb.

They won’t look like that in the flesh come 2021 though, guaranteed. The chances of the aero being the best it can and also looking good are zero. Function will always take precedence over form.

Clever marketing though.

Halo makes them look stupid but cannot deny that it works after the incident at spa last month

They look great but lets hope they carry it through, a lot of opinions in F1
Well, in that regard-
“The aesthetics of the new cars was also an aim, Brawn said.
"We want cars that look better than what you see in a video game, cars that kids want to have up on their walls. At each stage, as we have been evolving the car, we’ve had someone we are working with create a graphic representation artist to give us a feel of what the car could look like," he said.

We can only hope.....if i’m excited by what I see goodness knows what young kids are thinking....and that’s gotta be good for cars and the next generation of car lovers!

They look stung and the treatment to the airflow around the front wheels is interesting.

As Athols says though, in the world of extreme downforce, looking good and being good tend to be two different things.

The extreme downforce of today’s cars is leading to the boring racing.

Mr Brawn “When we started looking at the 2021 car, the primary objective was to enable the cars to race well together, "What we established early on in our research is the cars we have now are very bad in following each other. The aim, then, is to reduce how following closely a car ahead affects its aerodynamic efficiency. Estimating that the current regulations mean a 50 per cent reduction in downforce in this situation, Brawn says the new regulation has improved this by 30 per cent, so that a car only loses 20 per cent downforce”

So hopefully we get these incredible ble cars and more competitive F1

I know what you mean, but the only way to actually prevent the sprouting of ugly aero devices is to put a maximum amount of downforce in the rules, which they won't do (and I wouldn't want) as it is a technical sport. So in the end the aero development will make them uglier than this, but certainly better looking than they are now. The big wheels make a massive difference to me, so that alone will be worth it! Fingers crossed!
