I have a 2004 Blue/creme 612. Happy to assist, and I am a subscriber to Modern Classics
I was expecting a little anger regarding some wording in the 3200’s entry in top 40...And it is a great read. Opened the mind...
I bought one of the top 5 cars in the cover feature too today
Good to know. I've only ever driven a DB9 on track and needless to say it wasn't really at it's best there. Not compared to a 911 Carrera S or Elise as part of the same 5 car track day I was on anyway.
Just had a look on autotrader, there's a few on there. One at 57k but with 69k miles on the clock and 2005 vintage, another at 124k and only 8k on a 2008. Begs the question. Who buys a car and not drive it?
The Queen,
Cheers wattie
It is very usable though, you really could use it all year round; the level of forethought that’s gone into the ergonomics and dynamics is quite something, something that you’d associate with a more mass market car firm. The doors are specifically light and open wider, for example. The steering lock isn’t akin to turning around shipping tanker. In some ways I was more impressed with how grown up it was, rather than the speed. Not many buy as a daily driver, and if you can afford a new one you will probably have a very nice more practical daily driver. It's usuage will be then probably in the summer nicer weather, then only for pleasure, and such mileage is then not a surprise.
