I think the prices have just really taken a dive over the past few months and will continue doing so for the foreseeable future. Worlds best kept secrets :)

It's not on Nuvola's website but his site is very out of date with some cars having sold elsewhere many months ago.

Maybe it's a SOR car that the owner is keen to get rid of by year end.

If you look around brexit bargains are to be had...other cars are dipping too.
I do think they are so this can either be a case of someone has instructed them to sell it at the earliest as they need the funds or its a kipper. I guess a good inspection will assist in answering that.

Agree, I saw an 18 plate Alfa Giuila turbo nutter that I quite liked. Dealer asking £57k, WBAC offering £43k. Sure one is retail and one is trade but I suspect WBAC know a lot more about what things are selling for than I do.

That looks nice. If I was braver, I'd daily drive that! So many factors here including Brexit however I don't think Maserati's current brand positioning is doing anything for the older cars now. I'm seeing diesel Ghiblis on 14 and 15 plates now going through the auctions for £16k ish. Your average punter wants a newer car to show of to his neighbours, who have no idea of the difference between models. That's why BMW will de-badge a 318 for you and cover it in M badges. Why but an 8 year old v8 for 30k when you can buy a 4 year old v6 for less than 20? Most people will go for the brand at the lowest price, like a fake handbag.

Only by building fantastic, aspirational cars, will you drive up the value of the "lesser" models and add nostalgia and it's value to the old stuff.

That is cheap!
And I'm sure its a good car, as I was talking to and negotiating with Nareman about it for some time.
In fact, I actually offered to pay £32.5k for it less than 4 weeks ago! But he declined and wanted a bit more. It is on SOR, so I assume the owner wants it gone now, hence the reduction.
It was originally up for around 36k, and a few months ago, while I was travelling to London to view it, it actually sold to someone else and I had to turn around disappointed.
Fast forward a few weeks and he tells me it's back up for sale. The reason being that it went in to Maserati for a service and required a few things doing, and the buyer wasn't willing to wait, so pulled out of the sale.
That's when I made my offer. (In my case it's a long story, that I'll tell in another thread, but I've since bought another car from Dicky Grace.)

I was willing to pay 32.5 so it's current price, I would have ripped his arm off! Funny how it goes.

Main points to note - It's just had a full service at Maserati including rear tyres, rear discs and pads (the front discs are 50%worn) its very clean underneath and has just had a new AC compressor.
Only negative I could see was clutch is 60% worn, but that totally wouldn't put me off it at that price! It is a bargain I'd say.

Looks GFM the market certainly is cooling, if it carries on like this I might be able to afford one soon, mind you I suspect Irish VRT, tax and insurance might put paid to that no matter how cheap they are.

Good lord, at this rate I'll be back in one in no time!

Probably newer, lower mileage and for less than what I sold mine for!

Yep that's the one, I spoke to Nareman this afternoon and should be sending it for an inspection following my visit tomorrow/Friday (depending on his availability)

I only plan on having it a while until im in a stable position to buy a Strad, when the right one comes along (in theory) so get that business rolling out and if I get it say hey in a year or so

Where you given the option to pay a refundable deposit? Someone here reported the same thing a few months ago - iirc it was a long train journey to Kent to buy. He was rightly brassed off.

That was me and I also ended up buying a car from Richard.

I’m waiting for Gran Cabrio prices to go into freefall too :p

His website is so out of date (over a year) that I thought he’d closed. And what happened about his move to Chelsea - all these shots are still taken at the car park in Shep Bush. But I’m pleased to hear he still is up and running, even if he doesn’t keep the website stock current.
