Not surprising. It was the best car at the price. But unfortunately that’s it with the GT-S right now - you have to price aggressively to sell quickly.

There are.....and just because it's not exotic doesn't mean you can still have fun in them.

Something boring with 4 doors unfortunately, but needs must.

QP GTS then! In either 4.2, 4.7 NA V8 guise, or the later 3.8 twin turbo V8 (the most powerful and fastest road Maserati ever made).

As stated ao many GTS up for sale at the moment.

After 11 years with various 4200/GS coupes I am 90% sold on moving to one next year.

Low miles is going to be the issue as I do not want to be holding back on use like I have with the GS since it moved into >50k

Possibly a 2013MY rather than the older shape and a Auto rather than MC Shift.

They ar high £40s at the moment with <30k so hopefully early 40s by the spring...so fingers crossed £15-18k and the GS.

Think you will get one for the price you are looking at then Peter. Prices seem to be dropping every month with owners of unsold cars having to. A number of cars that have been for sale for ages has on AT has seen drops of 3 to 5k over the last few months. You see it with lots of Marques with big engines. Look forward to seeing what you get into.

I really can’t understand the logic of holding back on using the GS as its done over 50k miles.
Ones with 30k miles aren’t exactly selling quickly so you may as well enjoy it!
If you replace next year I’d do the opposite and buy a cheaper higher mileage one then not worry about adding more miles to it.

Looking at the GT S's that are currently for sale surely Phils has to be the best value one on the market. A known car on the forum with all the important bits done. Yes over 50k on the clock but that's sod all and at 27995 it's a bloody bargain.

Use versus value? What’s the point of owning a Maserati and not using it?

Let's hope it goes this week Andy. The amount of offers I've had of £25k and collect today... It's unreal... but no way am I letter her go for so low, that would be an insult to her for sure. Autotrader has really piqued interest in the motor and in future rather than messing with Pistonheads and on here I'll pay the £65 for the ad and sell any future car within a week or two. Two more weddings in it this weekend and she still wow people. She drives superbly too and as you say will go on for ages witth recent clutch, service and variators etc.... There may be lower milers out there but do they need a clutch etc..... and will they wow like Black Beauty does? I doubt it. H pipe still on the car and Larini cats off now ready for the replacement. Hoping to be in a Strad soon.

I don't get it. Use the **** out of them and they get better. Who cares if it is over 50 k miles ? If the cars for stand more than a few months the seals and gaskets fails and then you get expensive oil leaks.... I'd rather have a leggy one than a garage queen. Didn't yours let you down on a trip to France, I'd bet that if it was a daily you would not have suffered the same failure of the AC compressor.

Agree an AT Phil....I sold most of my performance cars in PH but it seems that AT is now the place to sell. I look st AT more than PH. Hope she does mate. After seeing her I can't believe she will not sell at your asking price. Wh buy a 4.2 at 25/26k when you can gave your car for a few K more. It's madness .....
