I hate seeing one so cheap - that is an awful lot of car for no money at all - too good to be true ?

It does seem cheap, but I wouldn't say it's too good to be true; these types of cars are usually a hard sell, I should know I've had quite a few V8s!

The only downside I can see was that the clutch was 40% worn at its last service, but apart from that it seems perfect. Personal preference would be to not have the gloss black alloys as I've never been a fan of them.

It does seem too cheap but it does say he's been offered low on a PX so throwing out there cheap to make a few more quid.

Its coming into clutch territory but still, its cheap so would not be overly fussed.

As we have discussed it does not mean it’s a bad car but this happens a lot .

Hello all, I'm looking at getting a Granturismo (preferably 4.7 MC shift) and this one caught my eye: 2009 MC Shift - £28895

Anyone know the car, or is the owner on here?

Isn't that Phils car...Its on AT a 28995. If it is it's a great car. He uses it as a wedding car. Sure he will be along soon.

Ignore that I didn't open the advert. Not Phils car.

No - Phils car has a higher mileage. I wouldn’t say that a clutch at 40% is a concern - quite the contrary, as it has more than half it’s life left. Has it had the variators done? (Pretty sure Phil's car has.)

Realised that once I found the link in the original post. Phils car would be a safer buy probably.

Sounds like it’s a bargain then. Presumably he’ll accept £28,500, which is incredible value for a low mileage 2009 4.7 GT-S with full history and variators fix. Easily best value GT currently available.

That a very nice looking GTS at that mileage for that money. Looks well serviced too and, if variators done, could be a very good buy

I agree it's cheap but many GranTurismos are now old so things will go wrong. A lot of buyers will be put off by the V8, ancient informatics and lack of availability of reasonably priced parts (eg 4.7 front brakes). I still love driving mine but understand that the market does not look favourably on it whereas, say, three years ago it did. You can get an M4 for sub £30k now, mind there are lots of those and we only need a few to come over to the dark side to maintain good demand for our cars.

I've seen Contigo's car on AT as well, looks great but don't think it has the comfort pack if I recall. Mileage might be an issue as well because I fully intend to use mine as a daily and will put on anywhere from 8k to 12k a year.

I tried to get hold of the seller but no response to email so far and can't get through on the phone.
