Well done, Phil. Worth waiting for the right buyer rather than the £25k chancers. Someone just got an amazing car, there.

So, what'll you be down to Le Mans in next year, then? And none of those limp-wristed BS excuses about having a wedding to go to! ;-)

Not sure yet, liking the Ghibli right now. Darn sight cheaper to run! :D

Im not so sure TBH, we were only discussing it as we were agreeing that 40 -45k would not be buying a nice facelift. It lead to if you had 40k only to spend then you'd be much better going with a well sorted pre facelift, where I mentioned there is a couple of really nice pre cars here. Harvey then said ah is that GeoffCapes, yes its a perfect example of an older car but in very good condition for less money.

There are some that prefer the more elegant lines of the pre-facelift models. I certainly do, except on the Strad which really suits the more aggressive look.
Me too. Does the facelift offer any material improvements to warrant to price gap? Appreciate that for those wanting an auto the MC software is nice.

Probably the seats are the more significant improvement, Pete. I think that's about it. Someone more 'detail-oriented' will be along soon to comment, I've no doubt!

The Granturismo Sport MC Auto Shift benefits from new sport seats and the Granturismo Sport front bumper and black exterior detailing, including the headlight and window surrounds and exhaust pipes. Horsepower is up to 460bhp with 520nm of torque at 4750rpm, the double wishbone suspension features a new setup and is controlled by the Sport Skyhook System, which has been specially developed for the facelift car. As mentioned before, it also has the MC Autoshift software which opens the exhaust baffles in Sport Manual mode and not just above 3000rpm as in the auto cars, gear changes are smoother and quicker too.

So is better than 'normal MC Shift?

Is all that what the facelift model comes with?

A number of useful improvements on the facelift car then. Is the facelift suspension comparable handling wise to the earlier cars specd with the MC Handling option? Or is MC Handling still an option on the facelift car?

If only you were in the market a couple of months earlier. Could have bought mine!!

Tonnes of carbon. 18k Miles. 2012 so just pre facelift.

And I perfect condition. AV engineering sold mine.

Within your price range. Oh well.

The MC handling option gives fixed dampers as well as grooved discs. The facelift autos have Sport Skyhook system which is not a fixed system, brakes are grooved though.

Does the Maserati flag come with the car Geoff ?.
That's how it would look crammed in my garage. I have the same inch gap under the door also (awaiting putting a floor finish down, one day) Although it would be treated to underfloor heating!

I can get you a brand new one if you buy mine.
You can just about see the cardboard I put on the walls to protect the doors as well. That’s a must for a single garage.
