Anyone know if Prestige Installs (Audio) has gone under?

I have been trying to contact Paul at Prestige for sometime now.

About a month ago I spoke to the shop to ask about an install (circa £1500 so a worthwhile job) and was asked to confirm everything by email.

I have since sent 6 or 7 emails, tried contact via the website and also calling (the phone is never answered). I'm a patient man but this is unacceptable!

Anyone know if they are still trading or if there is an issue?

I am sure someone will have his mobile number.....I have to say - email was never Pauls strong point...

Have you tried instagram or facebook messenger?

I spoke with them last week, they are totally mobile now, (used to share premises) but didn’t get the feeling there was an issue, having said that they haven’t called me back with a fitting date yet.

I have two numbers:
01727 238111
07960 108 800
Both of which are going to voicemail this morning.

Can’t see the going under as they fit to order, but it’s possible.

I will put a few calls in between meetings and see if I can make contact.

Don't do instagram or facebook but even if I did I'm not sure I have any confidence in a reply. I'd have thought multiple emails, voicemails and contact via the website may be enough.

I keep getting voicemail as well. Let me know if you have any luck ... I will also give it another go.

I tried to get him to work on an install for my Abarth but gave up eventually & found someone else. Constant chasing from my side & unanswered calls & emails did not inspire confidence.

That's where I am getting to.

Seems to be a common theme. I would have thought that in the current climate small firms would be falling over themselves to reach out to prospective clients!

Those small firms that have a good rep and faced into the issues as opposed to whining seem very busy. Just looking at getting some wheels repaired on the Jaaaaaaaaag. We can fit you in on the 17th, sir. Which is the same day as I could get Mrs C's 147 in for subframe mounts at Auto Alfa. And that was booked last week

Am wondering if the Carplay install at ~£150 is no longer an attractive price. Possibly for fill in work at quieter times. No idea if this is the case but if so perhaps offer a more realistic price - I doubt you'll find anyone else who's competent willing to do it for that.

This is a £1500 install not £150 ;)

And they were keen enough and had the chance to say no when I spoke to them a month ago ... but have 'ghosted' me since!

I did see that thanks  Presumably an element of which is carplay?
Tbh 1.5K is not a large amount for a decent system.
Some HUs alone are considerably more.

Edit: From the carplay thread:
£200 - CarPlay and camera
£150 - CarPlay only

Appreciate what you are saying but I really couldn't give a f#ck about whether this is a big install or not ... this is about **** poor customer service. If they don't want the work, then just tell me - I have said as much in my in my emails and voicemails.

And regardless, they should be looking at me as a potentially loyal returning customer who is willing to spend thousands on audio equipment (which I am am btw).

I wouldn't disagree with your sentiment - it doesn't take long to send a quick message as a courtesy does it.
